Free food, long line - a sign of the times

Gas in the tank or food on the table? It is a choice more and more in the east metro and western Wisconsin have to make as the economy slows and fuel and food prices climb.

This is a very nice story. If everyone could do like the movie pay it forward, where everyone helps everyone out maybe the need would decrease, maybe we as americans would help one another instead of waiting for the government. The need out there is great and only going to to get greater. I know I am a single parent struggling so any help available is great.

If everyone is doing so poorly, why do I see all of these large SUVs on the road? Don't blame these problems on the price of gasoline. We still have some of the cheapest gasoline in the world.
