Will Calvert Expansion be used to ease overcrowding at Rising Sun Elem? As Board policy dictates a committee will be established this fall to review enrollments in all adjacent schools and will be charged to make a recommendation to the Board of Education regarding boundary adjustments. They will then take effect in the 2012-2013 school year.
Meanwhile, this coming year all those extra class rooms at Calvert will be empty. Your tax dollars NOT at work.
