My facts are what they are...true! You always cite "others" for your "facts". I haven't seen you back up one of your so called "facts". I haven't spoken to Mayor Fisher in months. I act independently, always have and never protested in front of town hall like you...how totally unnecessarily embarrassing for a small town like ours.
You are not doing this community any favors by running people who disagree with you into the ground and accusing them of "extortion" or calling them a "liar" without one shred of proof which you had promised to supply. You don't play well with others and I am familiar with your "schtick" now.
You should proofread what you post on FB, on 7/21/12 you post on your own page and I quote: "No surprise there Jeff, I am moving my business back to PA as well. I may soon move back there too. 4 years in MD is enough for me! It's like night and day between the two states".
How you became president of our local chamber of commerce is beyond me. You should resign effective immediately!
Those who don't remember history are doomed to repeat it!

For your supposed "RS fact check" page, I was not the 1st, 2nd or 3rd homeowner who asked for trees or concessions from developer of MHA. I wanted my appeal heard! As FORS chairman I had responsibility to negotiate for FORS which voted to accept handshake deals with this developer, not me. I worked for other developers, knew their business practices. What should I expect from a low life schemer like George Beer who misleads town hall at every opportunity just like he does this very day?
Instead megalomaniac Mumey took over FORS negotiations and not at my request, then berated me for not accepting them. Apparently Mumey, Pierson & Beer have spread lies about me ever since. I never asked for money for myself at any time. Had FORS backed me instead of conceding, MHA might still be a meadow today or at least have single family homes as Montgomery initially planned when he called it "Maple Heights Homeowners Assoc" to get zoning changed by misleading Mayor Teague.
As I told FORS, despite their votes to deny me support, I planned to bluff and hold out to last minute as lone plaintiff or at least get something in writing from DVDC. George Beer begged me multiple times to end appeal and unknown to me, when Beer's contingency date to buy said land came due before my last date to drop appeal, DVDC finally offered something in writing. Other than trying to reimburse FORS legal fees, I took what Beer/DVDC offered weeks after getting booted by FORS. I never asked Beer or DVDC for one red cent!!
It's not like I had a choice after your allies ran me and FORS into the ground so they could use FORS toward their own political aspirations. Then those 3 ran Rising Sun right into the ground as well. One quit as Commissioner after Barry Montgomery dressed her down at town meeting and Mayor Cox sadly did not use her gavel to stop the carnage.
I'm glad to put this all out here for everyone to see cause you and I had these very same conversations and emails together, then you turn and used whatever you could to defame me in every medium you could find and you do this to Bob Fisher at every opportunity. My only link to Fisher is defending the crap you keep posting.
Vince, please find meeting agenda or minutes where a "Letter of Support" for MHA#2 was public knowledge as it was supposedly signed by Mayor Mumey last year. Beer said he had that "Letter" but didn't get approved for funding. Nice to see your "friends" know what is best for Rising Sun with another back room deal made in "executive session"!
The same back room deals cast RS in a bad light.
I'm sick of your misinformation Vince and the fears you promote. Prove once and for all that Fisher could replace your benefactor Bonenberger with Sandi Didra. Good luck and happy trails back to PA.

excuse me..isnt a low income housing expansion a good thing for the town? Since the economy is such a mess right now, alot of foreclosures, people losing their jobs, being forced to lose their homes, wouldnt a cheaper apartment complex help such people? In politics, its shady, especially small towns, but what exactly is the bad thing here? Please forgive my ignorance, just wondering....

rising sun is very nice place to live. affordable living as its called should be where employers are. no jobs in rising sun or do you think every person who lives in rising sun works at martins? no, they ride at least 1/2 hour away for work and pay a hiway toll, yeah theres no bus unless you ride the short one. town administrator said rising suns ratio of rentals to total # of dwellings was higher than national average. nice to read in paper this developer was refused state funding to build more mouse traps for poor people where there aint no jobs.
