If you voted for her, you're an idiot, plain and simple. The citizens and business owners are the reason the town has so many troubles. They're complete morons.

If you voted for her, you better regret it. Let me ask you to please be more informed next time. Chris Callahan is a nut too. Same morons voted for him. The guy's a lunatic.

She was convicted of stealing money from the town while she was working as the town treasurer....funny that people voted for her even though she was being investigated for this crap.

I voted for Sandi and NO.....I do not regret it! No, I am not an idiot and yes, I was informed. My family has known Sandi for a very long time. Perhaps you are not "informed" on the procedure or lack of that goes on in the town of RS. They just very recently started using time clocks for town employees. For YEARS, everything was hand written on time sheets. There was NO system for keeping track of overtime or comp time. Also, maybe you are not aware of the fact that weeks before Sandi was charged, the new town administrator paid certain town employees overtime to carry several boxes of paper work out of town hall and loaded them into his PERSONAL vehicle! Wonder where this paperwork was going? Last time I checked, no paperwork is supposed to go home with ANY town employee, much less several boxes full. While you are entitled to your opinion, you should make sure you are informed before judging someone for voting for Sandi! Everyone that I know that voted for Sandi, still stands by her!

Well "Mom", you may not regret voting for Sandi but I regret to inform you that you are indeed an idiot.
1. I am informed.
2. Many municipalities don't use time clocks
3. Ya think maybe the "Clerk-Treasurer" who was in charge of payroll matters might be responsible for making sure there was a system for keeping track of hours? I wonder why she didn't have a system like most people in that position would have?
4. Of all the numerous "mistakes" made, all of them were to her benefit...hmmm....
5. You ever been involved with a large scale investigation like the one that was required. it requires examination of lots and lots of paperwork, perhaps that accounts for the boxes?
6. As I stated before, i am informed but even if I wasn't I feel pretty comfortable suggesting one would have to be perhaps a little challenged intellectually to vote for someone to any office while they are in the midst of being investigating for stealing! And now that the legal system has verified her guilt, it is pretty amazing there are still morons like you willing to defend her...she was found guilty!

Wow. You must really get off on using such large words as "idiot" and "moron" just because someone has an opinion. I'm glad we live in the United States so that I can defend your 1st Amendment Right to do so. Thankfully, I don't have to express any opinion of you as you do it so well yourself. The more you write, the more your true colors come out. Enjoy your freedom and continue to express yourself. Otherwise my blood and those who came before me would have been for nothing. Keep up the good work and maybe someday Karma will repay you for your effort.

Best Wishes...

i was surprised by what happened, although i did not vote for her most did because they knew her forever not by her "skills"..but we shouldnt put people down by calling them names for having an opinion, we all have one, just because one doesnt agree with it doesn't make them an idiot..

Wow... well Sandy was always nice to me when I needed something from the town. But, it does not negate the fact that she STOLE MY MONEY. Idiot may not me a good term to some of you dim wits, but YOU all are crazy to still support her. I HOPE her ass goes to jail. Just because the town TRUSTED her and had bad recorded keeping, It is NOT and excuse for being dishonest. I Hope she goes to JAIL! Dude!

Today she should be reporting to the county detention center! She was found guilty. Can her support just move on. She not only stole from the town but our tax dollars paid for all those extra paychecks she gave herself. I am at disbelief that people can support someone no matter how nice she stole over 40,000. I feel that this negates any of her kindness because she has proven herself to be untrustowrthy.

The only thing I have to say is that her time off had to be approved by someone in the chain. She's not the only one guilty.

did you get some of this money she stole over the years? It only took a week for the CPA to look at our books over the years and be able to tell who was robbing us blind she may have been a patsy for the rest of the city councel if so she better take them with her.

Hats off to the Town Administration for following up on the inadequate book keeping process and sticking to their guns when the State Attorneys Office didn't want to prosecute the case. If you do the crime expect to pay the consequences. Once again great job to the Town Administrator,The Chief of Police and Rising Sun Town Council.

Ha people!
You Re-elected a Sheriff that allows Corrupt staff work at his department and YOU pay their wages! He admitted to being a liar and every time you turn around, his Department is making negative news.
Cheer up, it's a lot worse at the Cecil County Sheriffs Department.

Sandi Didra is a convicted felon, and she got off easy on her sentence. She stole from the taxpayers and has not yet ever even said she was sorry for her corruption. I hope she has a miserable time in jail; it is not enough time for her corruption.
