I'm a sworn Officer, with proof of Corruption within the Sheriff Barry Janney administration. Barry refuses to conduct an investigation. He realizes that the papers will not report this as they support him in a bias manner. He fears an investigation as he knows that his staff were wrong. So, he has choosen to support CORRUPTION that disgraces himself, his department and Cecil County. He is the most dishonest Officer that I have known and he is a disgrace to my profession!

You are correct. Many in the public do not know the mess the Cecil County Sheriffs Department is in as the papers will not print the stories that Officers present. It is if the paper, only prints part of the story if one is printed at all. The wool has been pulled over readers eyes for years but the truth is slowly coming out.

Janney is a very sneaky person out for himself! I am one of those Deputies that left shortly after Janney arrived, I have been a victim of his ignorance in which I felt to keep my pride I needed to leave there and not work for an agency that has serious issues and a very shady Sheriff!! Barry do us all a favor step down you are far from what Cecil County needs and that red carpet is over flowing with the stuff you push under it! Leave Office!
