horrible modesto drivers!!!!

[Sick of this town]

What the hell is wrong with the drivers in Modesto?!! I took my daughter out to practice her driving this evening. In the space of the 20 minutes it took us to drive down Sylvan, make a left onto Mchenry, and loop downtown. We had:

A very rude driver in a blue minivan, with the name and phone number of a business plastered on the back (real smart, by the way) give us the finger because he wanted to go 60 down Sylvan and we were doing the speed limit.

A young man on Coffee Rd. in a black Volkswagen Jetta who'd obviously had a few too many nearly sideswipe us. Twice.

Several other assorted near misses and "brake slamming to avoid a collision" incidents, including some poor soul in a white Jeep Cherokee who was forced to apply his brakes no less than three times in a one block radius to avoid nitwits pulling in front of him. Where are the police?!!

I am sick, sick, SICK, of witnessing some of the rudest, most dangerous driving I've ever seen in my life every time I go out. And I got my license in California in 1978. Some of these people might be illegals driving with no license, but I doubt all of them are. Some of the worst offenders are driving pretty nice cars. I only hope they have insurance. Who else is tired of taking their life in their hands to get to work or run a simple errand? I can't be the only one.

I know what you mean I just moved out of California in Aug. and I know excactly what you mean they are getting as bad as San Franscio drivers.
