I love being at the ball field in the summer watching my kids and the other children play ball as well, but it sounds like to me that Chad Jarvis is running our little league program in the ground. Does anyone else have an opinion? I signed my son up weeks ago and I have yet to hear about what team he is on, or if he will even have a team. I have decided to keep my son in the Minor league this year and I heard that there are only going to be 2 teams. Does anyone else know about this so called President and what he plans on doing?

Chad is doing a very good job. Just remember that there is also a VP of baseball and a VP of softball, and the board which is also involved.
I am a very firm beleiver in the little league program. BUT the major componet of the system is parents and volunteers. As coaches, umpires, field workers, concessions, and as board members.
I have been to board meetings and it is the same few that show up, I have been to field work days and the same few show up, I see the same coaches year after year, I see the same few in the concession stands.
I understand the confusion of the teams this year but we need to have the community work as a group to make sure that little leauge stays strong.

Thank you for your response. I am in hopes that the VP help this situation out. I know that it takes more than just one person to get this job done properly, however, it is is job to take on the responsibility to make sure that it is done,so when it is not done properly, then it becomes his fault. I finally got a phone call and my son has had a couple of practises so far this week. I just hope our children are able to get a fair shot.

I heard there isn't going to be coach pitch teams this year because of lack of volunteers.

Chad Jarvis is a fruit loop. He shouldn't have anything to do with girls sports because he doesn't have a child that plays. He is only involved because of his kids. He isn't very smart so how can he qualify for president of our towns little leagues.

I had ?s today and I called Chad he helped me a lot and I think he's doing a good job if u have a problem with somethings he's doing or isn't doing maybe unstead of posting neg things on topix you should call him or volunteer a way to fix the problem

It is amazing what happens when common sense prevails instead of bringing judgement and finger pointing.
