It's on the front page of the Tuesday (today's) Jackson Herald news paper. Probaby not on the website, they don't update it very well.

I know that a man named Denver was arrested in the bust and i just heard that the guards at scrj beat him so severely that he is now in intensive care. I know that he has a drug problem... just like half of Jackson county, but what gives a corrections officer the right to beat someone?? This is a shame and disgrace to the entire criminal justice system! There is a reason we have courts and due process so why are we letting a bunch of guards on a power trip decide anyones fate??? I have heard about things like this happening with police officers and corrections officers and no one seems to be bothered by it but me!! Whats the point of tax payers paying so much money to keep this system going when we let peoples rights be violated by beatings anyway!?! oh and by the way, us tax payers have to pay for their medical treatment too.
