My fiancé and I had planned to save our wedding in April and have less than 100 people. Now a close family member is very ill and we need to move up the date ASAP. We are going to have an immediate family only wedding and need to pull it together pretty fast. Can someone suggest a place to have it that's not very big? And that isn't expensive? We would prefer not to have it in a church. Thanks!

Why not one of the historic homes in Parkersburg. I attended one there a few years back and it was beautiful and intimate.

Not sure what the cost is to have a wedding there. I had my reception in the conference center.

If you want inexpensive DO NOT do McCoys. The place also smells musty. It's outdated and needs a remodel. It's a hard time of the year to have a wedding because your pretty much limited to inside. Good Luck.

PS - if you need help with vendors just say so and I can recommend a few that we used for our wedding/reception last year.

How big is the Sandyville Senior Center? I checked out McCoys and I agree that it's musty and outdated.

I agree with your comments about McCoys. I can't believe people pay to have a reception there.

You may want to check Greenhills CC. Cheap to rent. They have rooms and you could do the wedding outside.

And I agree with Karen too. Cedar Lakes. I think you can rent a shelter for $75. Good luck and congratulations!
