As far as salon's in Ripley go they are OK but if you want something different or more fashion forward, your best bet is Charleston or Parkersburg. I wouldn't recommend getting your hair done anywhere in Ripley lol

I recommend Jordan Martin at Karen's in Ripley. She's the best in town by far.

The girls at head to toe are the only ones who saved my hair from falling out. I had a bad color job from somewhere else. They are really good.

Places n Ripley aren't bad at all there's a few like fantastic SAMs, one n Walmart, cut ups that are horrible spots fixed many mess ups from there but, the others like head to toe, shear creations and Karens are top 3.They have a few workers that are young and new to hair world so they are very fashion forward and know The new things that are out and about.just cause, it's a small town doesn't mean they don't know what they're doing I've had my hair done n charleston and FYI your paying a big price and my highlights was very chunky I cried and had to get it fixed. Most of your big talent is always hidden think of that before you open your mouth and if you havent given it a chance then how do you know? Hmmm These r supposed to be helpful forums not, a bashing unit!

The only person I've stayed with is Amanda Slaven at Courts Corner in Ravenswood. She used to work at his and Hers and she moved, and I went with her because she's that good. But once you find a good hair stylist that does what YOU want, you stick with them. (:

I'd recommend Jordan Martin (at Karen's) to anyone. She does great work and her prices are reasonable!

Wouldn't be caught dead at a salon in Ripley. Whether the stylists are good or not, they can't compare to the stylists in Charleston. Sorry but I feel more comfortable going to a salon who serves a large quantity of people a day. But that's just me, I like the best.

I just laughed at this comment. Driving that far to get exactly what they do down here. They probably went to the same dag on hair school. I'm not putting 50 bucks in my car to get my hair cut when I can drive to Ravenswood and have an amazing hair stylist do my hair. His and Her hair salon lost business for a reason, and that's because Amanda and Courtney left. But seriously, that comment made you sound really stuck up and "high class". Whatever lol

Head to toe is the best. So if you have never been there shut your freaking mouth! You don't even know.

I have fusion extensions, I can't get them done anywhere in Ripley. Charleston is my only option. And even if they DID offer extensions, I wouldn't go there because I know for a fact they don't do enough of that kind of work to know how to do it as good as the girls who do 10 a day in Charleston.

Sorry but, salons in Ripley are pretty obsolete FOR ME. If I was a plain jane and just had a trim and an occasional highlight I MIGHT consider it. But I just can't see those girls being skilled enough to do fusion extensions that take HOURS to do.

But again, THIS IS JUST MY OPINION! Doesn't mean it's a fact, just stating that FOR ME, and what I have done to MY hair, I prefer the experience and training of my Charleston girls. Sorry

Well, for your information I work n Ripley and I do fusion extensions it's called schooling and if u take a class and pay for it usually u can do it!!! I've done many and they have stayed n for 6 or more months and look amazing! Anyone can succeed n life as long as you work at it and keep taking classes to stay up to date with the new fads. Also, like I've said before even though it's a small town it can always have potential and your most amazing people are from there due to striving to become the best!!! They work so hard at it that they don't settle for less that's how I am and my fellow ladies that work with me!!! So before you accusing people are bad u should do some research if everyone judged a book by it's cover they would b many unopened...
