Obama Poll Numbers

The latest poll numbers for King Obama aren't looking good. Rasmussen Reports' latest poll finds that only 30% say the US is moving in the right direction. That's right: 30%

The same poll found that 51% disapprove of his job performance while only 49% approved.

A Quinnipiac Poll today finds that 49% disapprove of Obama's job performance with only 45% approving.

So it is now obvious that the numerous scandals surrounding the Obama White House are taking a toll. The latest scandal is that the Department of Homeland Security sent ARMED undercover agents to Tea Party rallies.

I suppose they felt threatened by the middle-aged and elderly citizens there protesting big and expansive government.

This is what our President & his goons are doing, in addition to spying on people's e-mails accounts, phone records, using the IRS to intimidate private citizens & conservative groups, covering up what really happened the night of the Bengahzi attacks & Fast & Furious (supplying weapons to Mexican drug warlords).

Is this the Hope & Change we thought we were getting?

Dear N9RSY,
Could you elaborate on any facts as to why you think that man rates as well as you proclaim?

I completely and totally disagree with you. And I live down the street from you.

Please share facts for your opinions.

I used to have a CB, but no longer; was KMM9700, Dixie D...this was before cell phones and when I had to be traveling.

Waiting for any shred of anything you might call truth.

Obama is in good company. He is the leader of a whole group of low polling Congressmen. I don't care for President Obama's policies much, because I don't see much difference in what President Bush was doing. He is gone in a couple of years, but most of Congress will get reelected.
Wednesday, November 06, 2013

The news goes from bad to worse for Congress, as voters offer their sharpest criticism of the legislature to date.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey shows that just seven percent (7%) of Likely Voters rate the job Congress is doing as good or excellent. Seventy-five percent (75%) now say Congress is doing a poor job.(To see survey question wording, click here.)

Poor marks for Congress are up five points from early October, just a few days in to the partial government shutdown and the rollout of the president’s health care law. This marks the legislative branch’s highest negative rating in more than seven years of regular tracking. Positive assessments of Congress are also down from nine percent (9%) last month, but have been in single digits for most of the year.

Part of the problem may be that just 32% of voters think their representative in Congress is about the same as they are when it comes to political ideology. Twenty-six percent (26%) say their representative is more politically liberal than they are, while just as many (25%) say their representative is more conservative. This is a question voters have been closely divided on for years, but slightly more voters now consider their representative to be more politically conservative than they are.

As the country looks ahead to next year’s midterm elections, only eight percent (8%) believe most members of Congress almost always get reelected because they do a good job representing their constituents. Most (67%) say they usually get reelected because election rules are rigged to benefit incumbents. One-in-four (25%) are undecided. Voters have expressed these sentiments consistently for years.

Polls about Congress mean nothing. Since I can remember Congress has polled low. But usually the same people who say bad things about Congress end up voting for the same person over & over. And polls about Congress are meaningless since it's made up of 535 different people- not one person in the White House.

Then, your government means nothing, as long as, people will accept substandard performance by elected officials, then Presidents will be just mediocre. Presidents are elected from Congress most of the time. Matter of fact they are the representative of one of the Parties. The President is a part of Congress. For your last part, 535 people have the power to override anything the President does if is is so bad. Yet the truth is the American Affordable Care Act (so-called ObamaCare) was pass by Congress, not just President Obama. The President can do some things by executive order, but Congress and the Supreme Court can and should correct this action if it is wrong. Our is a system of checks and balances, therefore if the country is messed up all 536 Congress persons and the Judges of the Supreme Courts share in the failure. Basic Civics, but I don't know if they teach this stuff in school anymore

Your post doesn't make sense. The President is NOT part of Congress. There are THREE branches of government: Executive, Legislative & Judicial. Each is to provide checks & balances on the others. But Obama is not supposed to be usurping authority over the other two branches but he is sure as hell trying!

Yep, you got that right!! One of the many reasons ACORN was shut down by the government was because of voter fraud. Only to re-open under 4 different names, same everything, but the name ACORN.

Tennessee had people in the voter roles that voted under the name of dead people for obama. The one I like the most is ACORN registered Mickey Mouse as a registered Democrat that voted in all 50 states.

How about that obama supporter in Cincinnati that recently was convicted of voting for dead relatives and voters in a comma x 6.

The new question is ??? did obomo win at the polls or did voter fraud and the Black Panther group alter the election??

Not even going to mention Kenya the birthplace! Ken'Ya hear me.

Such foolishness! President Obama won and it's over with. He won twice and you just can't accept a Black President. He can't win again so poll numbers don't mean anything! I don't worship men after they are out of office and I sure don't worship them when they are dead. That is a violation of the Christian religion!

"Such foolishness !"

Hope you don't mind me using your words. I just found it completely appropriate after reading your post.

Why do you inject race into the debate about an incompetent amateur pretending to be the president???

You state Quote " poll numbers don't mean anything " Whoa, back the truck up Harry!!! Well poll numbers sure do have meaning, that is how the citizens reflect there sentiments. Ever heard these two words? 1) AGREE or 2) DISAGREE.

Ex-Pres. Carter has been spotted running through the streets in Plains,Ga yelling <<I'm not the worst anymore>> >>I'm not the worst anymore>> <<I'm not the worst anymore>> Quite obvious without putting a name to it has taken over that title!!

You will never achieve any level of success without experience, No Way-- No How!! Standing under a circus tent, reading a speech written for you off of a Teleprompter does not count.

In final you say, worshiping the dead is a violation of the christian religion??? Sure could of fooled me, the last funeral I went to , that is exactly what we did. Sounds like I need to hang out with you!! Your funerals must be like attending a Block Party.

No Christian worships a dead person, Satan wanted worship from Jesus Christ, but was reminded only God receives worship. Sorrow, sadness, etc... does not mean a person is put on a level with God, which is worship. I've been to both types of funerals sad ones and joyful ones, but none worshiped the dead; we put them in the ground. Now, for President Obama, I didn't vote for President Obama and don't care for the Democrats or Republicans. Yet, most of the criticisms leveled at President Obama could be applied to President Bush. He is a warmonger; caters to the rich; violates the Constitution; violates international laws; the bailout was already in progress before elected; spying on Americans, arresting them without trial; torture; so-called enemy combatants at GITMO (which is not a part of the Law of Armed Conflict, at least not in the 28 Years I spent in the Armed Forces), the Patriot Act passed under President Bush which allows freedoms to be suppressed because of irrational fear among Americans. I could care less about so-called ObamaCare, I'd rather all Americans have free healthcare like the rest of the Western modernized nations; which I enjoyed as a military member, and mostly do now as a retiree.

No it wasn't "wrecked" when he took office. Unemployment was nowhere near what it is now. Gas prices were much lower too. Quit trying to blame Bush. He's been gone 5 YEARS!!! Time for you Obama worshipers to accept responsibility.

If the government wasn't in trouble to you think President Obama or any Democrat would have won? The Republicans would still be in power. I could look up the unemployment numbers, but they weren't good we were in a so-called "Great Recession." Gas prices when President Bush took over were around $1.59 a gallon. Gas prices went up after we invaded the Middle East in 2003. When you send the World's most powerful military into one of the World's most oil rich areas you create chaos and instability. Then, gas speculators and Wall Street manipulate the prices. It has nothing to do with supply and demand. The US hardly gets any gas from the Middle East; it comes from Canada, Mexico, Venezuela, Nigeria, and some from Saudi Arabia. I'm sure we are stealing some from Iraq and Libya, but that don't count. If North Dakota is now producing almost as much oil output as Saudi, why isn't the price back below $1.59?

I don't like Jeb Bush or Chris Christie. Too much like John McCain and other "moderates" who pal around with the socialist Democrats. So I do think for myself. Apparently you don't since you buy into every lie Obuma is selling.
