wanda bentley for mayor
Posted in the Ripley Forum
What a perfect candidate,Thats what ripley needs is a Mayor.A cop to watch for burgalers and drug dealers,Instead of people going 5 miles over the speed limit parking in the wrong place.
I second that notion bigballscharlie! Wanda Bentley is just the person we need in Ripley to change things around!! To bad she would have won against Mike Rowe if 65% of Ripley voters werent the Rowes themselves! Wanda is the only Bentley I know that doesnt have their head in the sand! She would have my vote!
shes got my vote
I admire her desire to get the truth out - there is only one reason people fear the truth; it's because it may cause people to make decisions that don't fit with their agenda.
After watching her behaviour in this vote she should be banned from holding public office. So much of the information she sent out in her mailings were 180 degrees off of the information presented at the board meetings. I was at the meetings and remember the presentations. And to remove a sign that is against your viewpoint? Hardly trustworthy.
Are you able to cite an example of how she was off?
Every bullet point one the PACE mailer; check them against the handouts from the January board meeting. Every Ripley resident got one.
saved neither - if you still have them, give me a couple examples.
I am surprised a concerned parent has not read all of the mailings for and against the tuition plan. Or attended the board meettings. The time for this discussion has passed. Now we need to move forward as a community.
Wait isn't she a thief and all wait a lia based o th the mailer she sent ou befor the bo the the vote
I did indeed attend the board meetings...why can't you give me answers????
Didn't save, is all I said.
I think you can't give me examples,why?
Still waiting.... my son loves RCS high school and I do too...
Kids loved their one room school house. Please keep an open mind as the town goes thru this process. Attend the events that will be held in the coming months.
You are not able to give me two examples of the discrepencies? Give me one then....Don't tip toe around the issue. I am so tired of the propaganda.
You fooled the older citizens of Ripley but you do not fool me.....
My son's goal is to receive a Regents diploma and go into the military.....he is thriving at RCS and so are his friends.....
If you need someone to tell you what was on the pro/con mailings why are you sure keeping the kids at the school is the right choice? Your son may do even better at CLCS. He may discover an intrest in something he has never had the opportunity to explore. Have him go thru the class offerings to see what all they offer. Also due to budget constraints Ripley will not be able to even offer what they do this year.
I am supporting what I think is best for the kids of our town after researching both sides of the issue. No one on the school board will benefit from this. Tuitioning the kids means less teachers to care for in their 30 years of retirement.
You have got to be kidding??? A million dollars? True?
Why would any Board authorize such huge benefits?
That amounts to nearly 1/8 of the total budget.
What about the elementary classes? Some are only 10-15 students, will there be cuts for next year in grades K-6? You certainly do not need two teachers for such low numbers. I don't have kids in the elementary now but I did.
All I want is the truth! So do many of my friends.
And still waiting for the truth from happyripleyres
What truth? Go to the board meetings read mailer's on all sides and do independent research. Going point by point on an issue that has been decided is not constructive. I believe minutes of meetings are public record. Get the facts from the source not gossip.
