If you moved from somewhere to our town....Please by all means return from where you come from. Make a change and just move to some other perfect town. Somewhere like Ft. Worth or Dallas or even Houston give Chicago a shot. You will feel so much safer there. I would rather pay 2.50 for matenee prices here then pay 7.00 for matenee in a bigger Cinema with the same bug problem.

Dear fish,

I'm not a big fan of little c-town myself, but there are some jewels in cleburne you seem to look straight over. The plaza theatre is a great place to go on the weekend. There are small businesses littering central and west cleburne with some of the best things one can buy. Cinema 6 was actually just remodeled and is a nice place to go now. The old bowling alley is fun if you go with the right people. The lake is beautiful in the summer, and if that's not enough, the brazos river is a ten minute drive out of town. Restaurants like Tuscany on 174 have fantastic food. You're post was a very ignorant accusation towards a town full of people who are trying to cure your boredom on a daily basis.

I just moved to Cleburne from Ft Worth and I love the small town. Of course it doenst offer all that the big cities do and that is a relief to me. I want to raise my sons in a town where people are nice to each other and value family more than a nice theater. To everyone that doesnt like living there please leave asap!!!!!

We moved to Cleburne from NY five years ago and find it quiet and very affordable. We used to have to go to Burleson or Ft. Worth for food and entertainment but have been here long enough now to know where to go and more importantly where NOT to go. Tuscany has great Italian food, El Torito for Mexican and our favorite hideaway is The Purple Turnip on Pendell. The movies are as cheap as possible and the bowling alley has come a long way. The lake and state park are great for outdoor activities and the old part of town has really been spruced up with new and renovated businesses and shopping. Caddo Street cafe has live entertainment on the weekends but we're glad Cleburne is still a dry town. We love our house and neighborhood and if need be, Dallas and Ft. Worth are close by. All in all Cleburne has small town charm and you can find everything you need here if you put in the effort. If you don't like living here may we suggest moving to a third world country for a month or two then come back to see all you've been missing while you were busy complaining!
