Solano's unemployment rate rises slightly
The rate rose from 10.8 percent in January to 10.9 percent in February. That happened even though the number of people with jobs rose from 194,300 to 195,100. But the labor force increased even more, from 217,900 to 218,900. State Economic Development Department consultant Linda Wong sees this growing labor force as a positive.
