First Lawsuits Filed in Ariz. Sweat Lodge Tragedy

The first two lawsuits in what could be a flurry of legal actions stemming from a deadly sweat lodge ceremony led by author and motivational speaker James Arthur Ray were filed Friday in Arizona.

Well, we knew there would be lawsuits forthcoming over this tragedy. It's terribly unfortunate that people got taken in by this charlatan, but bottomline, folks should use some discernment and be responsible for their own safety.

the guy running this sweat lodge is an obvious conman but some of the blame must also fall on the people that willingly went in on this.
being stupid is not a crime but you must also realise the consequences of your actions and not drinking water for 2 days in arizona heat and then going into a sweat lodge is utterly stupid. and i know what the heat is like out there i've been to arizona in july....

It will be further scandal if the influence-network who set up the sweat lodges and operated to route in some 'clients' will also be arranging the lawsuits -- such networking relative to U. S. Navy interlocutor functions.
