My mother has a lot in Unit 10 lot 14 Blk 202. Can anyone tell me any info about this lot? We live in Oregon. Any help would be appreciated.

Who would you contact to find out if the land I want to purchase in Rio Rico is Perk? Should the Assessors office have this info? It didn't mention anything when I looked up the Parcel number.

Thanks

to Jgraj:

It is up to the property owner to do a perk test. Ask the seller if one has been done; otherwise you or they would have one done as part of your inspection process.

I realize that it's been a while since you posted your question but I figured if you have not already found answers I would try to clarify by what I know. the question as to if a lot "Perks" refers to the issue of what type of septic system the lot can accommodate. If a lot passes a percolation/Perk test it means that the ground seepage is such that it will support a standard septic system. when the test is done they dig a whole in the lot and fill it with water and judge if it perks or not by the way the water seeps into the ground. If the dirt is really rocky and the liquid does not seep well then it may not pass the perk test which means that the lot may require an alternative septic system which may cost double than a regular septic system to install. if you really want the lot or if it has great views and you don't care about the extra cost then a lot that does not pass the perk test may not be a huge issue for you. some people don't care and some people will move on to a piece of ground that passes and will only require a regular septic system. You should contact a septic system specialist to get the full picture as this is just a brief answer and I am by no means an expert. i have just bought several lots in rio rico and have dealt with the issue. Hope this helps.

Daily Horoscope for December 16

Cancer

Today's New Moon in your sixth house reminds you not to neglect your health or general well-being. It's the ideal time to arrange a check-up with your doctor or dentist, or to follow up a medical query. Cancerians love yummy food, and the festive season is hardly the best time to start a diet, but you still might want to monitor your calorie intake.
