Hello Everyone,

American citizen living in western Europe (Netherlands) for the past five years ...

Moving back to the United States (Rio Rico) by the end of 2008.

I will be travelling back with BIG DOGS (Great Danes)... and I'm hoping to not only meet 'nice', friendly people - but also hope to meet other nice people with BIG DOGS.

By the way, can anyone recommend the closest college nearby where I can enroll and take Spanish classes?

I would like to assimilate into the culture and learn more about the people of Rio Rico.

Thanks -

Met vriendelijke groeten~
(with friendly greetings),

If you go to this website: www.dogchefs.com you can get in touch with Miki & David Voisard, who love dogs and volunteer at the local shelter, in Nogales.
I believe that NAU offers a variety of classes in Nogales. Best to check their website: http://home.nau.edu/
Your vet in Rio Rico will probably be Dr. Daniel Horton from San Cayetano Veterinary Clinic: San Cayetano Veterinary Hospital.
Dr. Horton is top-notch and very experienced. Nogales has great gentle-care vets too.
Great local papers are the Tubac Villager www.tubacvillager.com & the Arivaca Connection newspaper.
Shop in Tubac. Local artists and lots of history. Go to the Tumacacori Mission and make sure you stop into Abe's Old Tumacacori Bar across the street.
Good luck!

24 Dec. 2008 / Thank you Native Arizonan for the tips. We leave the Netherlands in ten weeks. See you next year 2009 ... you won't be able to miss me and the girls as my dogs weigh: 66, 67, and 50 kilos.
Season's Greetings - Andrea in Holland

Daily Horoscope for December 6

Taurus

If you gave up over what happened yesterday, you stand a better chance of sorting things out today. Talking to the person who failed to go for the teamwork may help to get a grip on the situation, especially if you manage to avoid recriminations or accusations. Instead, do your best to be as understanding and compassionate as possible. Or just let it go.
