There are not just a few anchor babies and they are a huge problem. Many women come over the border for the sole purpose of making their baby a US citizen. Those babies provide the "anchor" that allows the parents to avoid deportation by crying that if they're deported the family will be torn apart. It's a big draw in bringing them over the border.

Those babies are then enrolled in public schools as they get older. Since the parents don't speak English, the kids usually don't, either. You've heard all the stories about the problems caused in the school by non-English speakers.

In Texas and California hospitals are going broke because of the huge numbers of these babies that they're delivering without being able to collect the payment.

I hear your point but let's move these comments to another discussion. There's on already set up titled "Should Santa Fe be a Sanctuary City" or something similar. Anchor babies probably aren't a drunk driving threat unless your talking about the one I saw with a baby bottle full of leche hauling arse down the sidewalks the other day burning yantas...

So, let me guess. You are completely racist, because ANYBODY with a hispanic surname, you will post their DWI here, but someone with an anglo name, you won't. What's your point?

Stupid? You don't think that these two are American citizens do you? Put your racist B.S. to bed Johnny Martinez. Pretty soon it will be just the local gang bangers, the illegals and the part-time whities that you work for in this town. Is that what you want? Because if it is, better put your helmet on cause its gonna get nasty; the tensions between your "local" boys and the immigrants is just now starting to boil.

It is easy to see that someone is being a racist. It is not easy to tell by a last name whether or not they are american citizens or illegal aliens. Your ignorance is nothing new around here. You are living in the past you racists.
