Murderer found dead in state prison cell

A Ranchos de Taos man serving a life prison term for raping and killing a neighbor has been found dead in his maximum security cell at the Penitentiary of New Mexico.

When I see posts from people like Kayla I can't help but think that they haven't thought the topic all the way through. Obviously she's a bed-wetting liberal that believes all life should be treasured and protected. Come on Kayla, there's 6.78 BILLION people on this planet, we're starting to run out of room on this rock, non-renewable resources are getting consumed at astonishing rates (and God isn't going to replace them). Perhaps we should be more concerned about protecting and preserving those that live in within the scope of law & order instead of worrying about some low-life, murderer that took his own life. And by the way, the taxpayers won, we don't have to support him anymore. He proved himself to be of no value to society when he took another life. Maybe you should go live in France, you would fit in nicely.

In this state there have been many suicides while in prison. I, for one, am glad to see them because I have first hand experience with the personality types that end up with life sentences. Having taught a the state pen for 5 years I learned to dislike inmates. There is never a good inmate, just an inmate who wants to use someone for their own benefit. Sympathy?? Not happening here. Another one bites the dirt. Come'on astorga, follow this lead you whimp!!!
