This hasn't felt like a government that cares about taxpayers in too long. It's a government for the government employees and their unions.

Schwarzenegger turned out to be a big disappointment who lost his way from his wise, fiscally-conservative principles. He was brainwashed by his wife. His ego and need to be loved and admired interfered with clear thinking. And the labor unions beat him senseless.

If I pay more in taxes it is a tax increase. I don't care if I get it back. Chances are the state won't have the money to refund the taxes and we will get stuck with vouchers.

The state elected officials starting with the govenor are theives, this was a very secretive decision by those in Sacramento to take citizens money without their permission. They did not ask a thing they just take your money because they feel like it, they did not help us get jobs so what give these people the right to demand money that you earn. The govenor considers himself to be a reformer, he is just like the bootlegging politicians in Washington that get caught in their close door games.

I do not give the govenor permission to take my money therefore he is stealing it, him and the legislature, he can K..... my donkey.

Relax! If this is a big problem for you, just adjust your witholding. If you aren't willing to take 2 minutes to avoid these accelerated witholdings then by definition this isn't something you care very much about.
As far as Arnold taking a paycut goes, I think the dude sucks but the fact is that he only takes a dollar a year in "salary."
And anyone who thinks this is the same thing as a tax increase, and that the fact that you get your money back doesn't make a difference, please feel free to donate your refund to me come tax time. It doesn't make a difference after all!

it's very easy to increase your allowances. Just get the CA DE4 form. Go to the Franchise Board website.

Don't be a sheepie, show them you're not stupid. They think we're lazy and ignorant. Surprise - surprise, we can fight this back. And don't be lazy next year -- go and vote all the incumbents out.

Does this mean the state is going to pay the type of interest the Tax board charges us if we are late with our taxes? Do we get to charge interest? In your last borrowing from the people we got shafted by not having a plan to let us recoup interest, vouchers don't hold down the late charges that credit card companies charge us, by you taking more of our money.

Why doesn't CA just tell the people, we only want rich people in CA, the rest of you leave. If this isn't the case than start making some of the wealthy be as responsible as the little guys, including Arnold. Give us some Senators that aren't on the take (what a joke).

Otherwise, this is called DOUBLE taxation. If I decided to hold 10% of someones paycheck to pay my bills I would be in jail. Why didn't "We the People" get a vote on this? Where is our representation over the taxes?

The governor should be tossed out on his ear. He was supposed to be the one criticizing Gray Davis in the past. Who is to blame for it now ARNOLD? CA should be just like the Federal Government, we should throw all of them in the street from the top down. Just clean house and get some real people that haven't built their fortunes on the back of the government or should I say "WE the People." How do people expect change when you keep voting in the same republican, democrats, and now that Liberman has corrupted the libertarian party include that party?
WE NEED A NO CONFIDENCE VOTE ON OUR GOVERNMENT! NATIONWIDE AS WELL AS STATE WIDE! We the people don't want change, we DEMAND it! Get the money out of the elections ban lobbyist, and let the people's voice be heard!

We need to toss these law makers out. I hope this wakes everyone up. I will not vote for anybody who votes to take any more of my hard earned wages. Get the freaking message Sacramento, live within your means, cut spending, stop wasting my money.

How is this even legal? I guess everybody should just increase the number of exemptions they claim to counter it. That`s what I`m doing.

Don't get fooled, fool. Fiorini and Whitman will turn out just like Arnold, if elected.

Daily Horoscope for January 7

Aquarius

Avoid making promises today, or even believing in other people's promises. Today is not a good day to make commitments, as they are not likely to materialise. Taking risks is a no-no. Try to relax until the numbers are in your favour. Those pursuing their career will benefit.
