Woodhull Plaza truck stop shuttered

We've been given no official reason for closing the Plaza The business community is critical to any small town and the village of Woodhull is understandably saddened by the loss of a longtime business, the Woodhull Plaza, more recently known as Woodhull Family ... via Register-Mail

The Woodhull Plaza used to be a wonderful busy truck stop and restaurant, UNTIL it was purchased by foreigners. As they do every business, including motels, restaurants, gas stations, etc., they milk the business for all its worth, do not put money back into the business then abandon it when its dead and move on to another American business. Our Government gives them tax breaks for the first few years, and in this duration is when they milk the business. Wake up USA!!!

that may be true but the plaza was "the place to be" for so many years! where did you go after a night of drinking? the plaza! it's very sad for those of us who are from here. the homestead is nice but it's not the plaza.
