Thinking of moving to just-south-of-Belen

Yeah I'm one of "those people" who inherited a plot of land in the Rio Grande Estates. My spouse and I were out there this summer and found our lot. We saw a few houses built on some of the lots and want to do the same. We probably won't be able to get out that way for a couple of years but definitely want to go "green" and are considering an adobe home with a few solar panels and a couple of residential-scale wind turbines.

Can anyone here give us pointers on builders? What about septic installers and well drillers?

Who is the major employer in Belen? I see the Rail Runner goes to ABQ so we could both easily find jobs there with our skill sets if there is nothing we're suited for in Belen or Los Lunas.

We are sports car fanatics and have a couple of vintage cars. Are there any car clubs?
