new jersey outlaws death penalty

There were 8 people on death row- the news is trying to go for the angle that victims families are outraged. The last person to be executed in NJ was 1963- this ban stops the people who were on death row, and any future people from clogging the courts with appeals. The fact is, executions in NJ are not worth it. There is no money to keep these people waiting for a date with death and they end up dying on death row anyways.
