There are many recipes for squirrel and rabbit. Good stuff.

With all of those chemicals in them, the squirrels don't have to be refrigerated after cleaning. Just soak them in salt water for a week and they will be just fine. Let them dry for another month and they can be mounted and used as a conversation piece when company comes over. Nothing like a mounted squirrel to get a conversation going!! Really comes in handy when the guests stop talking.

I have one and I bring him out when there's a lull in the conversation. I named him Corsine because I wanted to. I know I won't be able to bring out my black bear any time soon

Yes, I'm a farm gal and eating squirrel is not uncommon, at least for country folk :)

If you put the squirrels in your gas tank, the lead will lubricate the valve guides and raise the octane a few points, as well.
