Of course NBC's rating is in the dumps, money comes before politics and even the liberal hucksters prefer money over integrity.

Things ARE getting bad for the White House this week:

New charges have been levied against the Obama administration. Apparently a junior purchasing agent with the Department of Agriculture working out the Boise, ID office came back from lunch 10 minutes late yesterday. When asked about it Obama responded with "I wasn't aware of it".

Republication Congressional leaders cited the need for a Select Committee on Lunch Lateness. They want to find out exactly WHAT Obama knows and when he knew it. Rand Paul is calling for the immediate dismissal of EVERYBODY.

During the same interview the same Congressional leaders were asked about their latest legislation designed to bolster the housing market and their latest jobs bill. They responded with a blank stare.
That bastard in Boise !!!!

What the hell is Obama gonna do about him !!!

Thousands of dead American troops,$6 Trillion spent for illegal wars, and a devastated economy we can stand,

But no damn way we're puttin up with that SOB in Boise !

A typical democrap in washington....
Where do yall come up with these bozos.

"With the rumbling of so much scandal ripping through Washington this week—woeful stories about Benghazi, the DOJ subpoena of journalists' phone records and the IRS unfairly targeting conservative groups—it's hard to keep track of all the terrible.

Even lawmakers sometimes struggle.

At Rep. Steny Hoyer's weekly meeting with reporters on Tuesday, the Maryland Democrat was asked if he was concerned about the DOJ seizing phone records from Associated Press journalists working in the House press gallery in the Capitol building.

Hoyer's answer was well-delivered: Articulate, clear, firm and precise.

One problem: He responded to the wrong scandal.

"The IRS activity was inappropriate, inconsistent with our policies and practices as a country, very concerning, needs to be reviewed carefully," Hoyer, one of the top-ranking House Democrats, said in response to a question from Fox News' Chad Pergram about the DOJ. "We need to ensure that this does not happen again, and we need to find out how long it continued, when it was stopped. It is my understanding—there was a front-page story on this at the [Washington] Post—it's my understanding that [IRS official] Lois Lerner, who was apparently overseeing this, at some point in time found out about this and said ..."

When Hoyer named Lerner, Pergram interrupted.

"We're talking about two things," Pergram, who apparently had not heard the first mention of the IRS, said from across the table, "You said Lois Lerner and the IRS."

Another reporter sitting closer to Hoyer, Public Radio International's Todd Zwillich, learned over and said softly, "He's talking about the AP story."

Well, you certainly have your talking points down. The Tea Party is truly a grass roots effort of like minded people who first came together over the threat of the taking over and destruction of our healthcare system. There is no "national organization" or "speaker" for those who call themselves the Tea Party. Someone used the term, others of like mind liked it and it spread.
The following list show some of the items that many of those who call themselves Tea Party members would agree with. It is by no means exclusive or complete, it is simply somewhat representative, because, as already stated, there IS NO national "platform" because there is NO national Tea Party.
Identify constitutionality of every new law:
Reject emissions trading: Stop the "cap and trade"
Demand a balanced federal budget:
Simplify the tax system:
Audit federal government agencies for constitutionality:
Limit annual growth in federal spending:
Repeal the health care legislation
Pass an "all-of-the-above" energy policy:
Reduce earmarks:
Reduce taxes:
Some groups that call themselves Tea Party would make additions and subtractions to the above, this is just to illustrate an overall point of view of limited government and emphasis on the Constitution .
"created by wealthy businessmen" - oh, you cute little conspiracy theorist, you
"destruction of the environment" "attack on science and logic" - bless your pointy little head
The libs make it up as they go. They, like the administration, are trying to distract us from what is currently happening. Hilarious. I can understand WHY they are upset and embarrassed. They should be.

You might have some credence with that argument, if it weren't for a few things. Let's begin with the Koch Bros father:
In 1958, Fred Koch — the founder of Koch Industries — joined a group of manufacturing executives and Robert Welch to found the John Birch Society, a virulent far-right group that dominated the civil rights debate. The John Birch Society organized an impeachment campaign against then-Supreme Court Justice Earl Warren for the Brown v. Board decision outlawing racial segregation, and mobilized its supporters to oppose integration of schools on the grounds that mixing black and white would lead to the “mongrelization” of the races. Fred supported the John Birch Society’s anti-civil rights campaign, and wrote a screed denouncing the civil rights movement as communist-inspired.
That's pretty much all the convincing I need as to why a pair of brothers a 1000 miles away would invest millions in what ultimately is a segregation effort at a county school board level.
The other would be the actual witness testimony from those involved. There's a good amount of it on the web.
I'm presuming the "testimony" is from the 11 minute film about the Wake County schools. The problem is that the film is part of a series of films by Robert Greenwald whose whole purpose was attacking the Koch brothers. It is not as though this film was independently made for the sole purpose of covering the school issue. Both Newsweek and the Washington Post did articles about the accusations of the Koch brothers involvement in the school board elections and found no connections. Americans for Prosperity were also "accused" of bankrolling Republican candidates and there is no evidence of that either. They apparently did provide some volunteers, but no money. The three articles whose titles implied Koch bros connections all used the words "alleged" ties, "implied" ties, but nothing substantive.
I found the same quotation you used to describe their father - he certainly does not sound like anyone I would care to be associated with, however, I am not ready to lay the sins of the father upon the sons in terms of their motivations. But regardless, it appears that not only can a link not be found between them and the school board election, even if there were, having read articles about the issue - I think it is only pure conjecture at best and race baiting at worst to ascribe the motives of those who wanted to change the policies as being race based. The arguments I mentioned in my first post continue to be valid and easily supported.

Benghazi - A CIA operation which the State Department attempted to keep covert.

The CIA, not the State Department was in charge of security - so you can't blame Hillary Clinton.

Ohhhhh - that's gotta hurt.

Now, we'll sit back and see how how you manage to blame Clinton anyway.

It jusT keeps getting worse. Now even the progressive socialist are turning in the IRS.
Hell is gonna bust wide open if this one is true.

"The progressive-leaning investigative journalism group ProPublica says the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) office that targeted and harassed conservative tax-exempt groups during the 2012 election cycle gave the progressive group nine confidential applications of conservative groups whose tax-exempt status was pending.

The commendable admission lends further evidence to the lengths the IRS went during an election cycle to silence tea party and limited government voices.

ProPublica says the documents the IRS gave them were “not supposed to be made public.”

I am feeling a glimmer of hope in regard to the media. It's not too late for them to become fair and balanced. It will most certainly be new territory for them. I have mentioned before that the media has taken some severe hits in regard to their culling stories and covering for democrats, ESPECIALLY Obama. We all know why. At any rate, Benghazi, the AP invasion of privacy and the IRS biasness is too big and runs too deep for the media to take a chance on a coverup. That would basically end it for the media.
I don't see why we insist on airing our Governments dirty laundry on national television for the whole world to see. I do believe the family members desserve the right to know what happened to their loved ones in Benghazi, everything else needs to be kept private until facts are proven. Unless they want to make these finding public then these findings should be kept private indefinitely. I'm sure people are watching our news that want to hurt us. They see that we are at each others throats over an attack. An attack that was not defended properly and that's it. Now lets assume they get the idea they don't need another 9/11. All they need are small quick random attacks to cause us to devour ourselves as bored likes to say libs do when they are left alone. I believe this witch hunt makes our country look weak and divided to the world. Just a thought.

No time for a long post. Money trail--->>>Koch Brothers--->>>America ns for Prosperity--->>>Wake Cares-->> School Board Elections.

I agree - the tie-ins of the father are not direct evidence. HOWEVER--- Any reasonable person would HAVE to see the likelihood of a connection.

Why would they do it? I think just to see if they can. Kind of like the two rich guys in Trading Places. Sure it's speculation --we can get into more details later -- but it's pretty obvious.

Interesting side story: Two of the elected board members ended up having an affair with each other, then one of them robbed the other one.

"Hours before US Ambassador Christopher Stevens died in a terrorist attack in Libya, he sent Secretary of State Hillary Clinton a cable warning that local militias were threatening to take away security officers guarding the US diplomats.

The cable, which Stevens submitted on the morning of Sept. 11, 2012, relayed the warning that Libyan militia “would not continue to guarantee security in Benghazi, a critical function they asserted they were currently providing.” Militia leaders had previously expressed anger at US support of a certain candidate for Libyan prime minister and consequentially planned to extract their security.

Stevens’ cable reached Clinton hours before terrorists attacked the US consulate in Benghazi and killed the ambassador and three other Americans. The cable was publicly released Friday by the chairman of the US House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, Rep. Darrell Issa, and includes 160 pages of documents outlining the violence surrounding Benghazi."

Response from Clinton, mum's the word.

Okay, so if I'm tardy to the party, my apologies, but I don't remember seeing this discussed before. Does anyone else think it just a little odd that the following major news organizations have direct family ties to high level members of the Obama administration?

ABC News President Ben Sherwood's sister is Elizabeth Sherwood-Randall. She joined the Obama WH in 2009 as a Special Assistant and senior director for European affairs at the National Security Council.

CBS News President David Rhodes' brother Benjamin Rhodes has been an Obama speechwriter since 2007 and is currently the National Security Advisor for Strategic Communications. He also happens to have been directly involved in the emails going back and forth regarding the various revisions to the Benghazi talking points.

CNN Washington Deputy Bureau Chief Virginia Moseley is married to Deputy Secretary of State Tom Nides.

Conflict of interest anyone?

You are correct in that no one knows for sure at this point in time.

Influencing a branch of government is one of the primary responsibilities of a President in order to perform his duties.

The type of influence matters. If you cant see that and understand the damage it can do to our nation if the influence is geared toward
harassing opponents or gaining special treatment for friends and family, then you are a lost cause, and if every liberal think the way you do this country is in serious peril.

I dont give a rats a** if the president is democrap or repub, breaking the law is against the law. Many get away with it, usually on a local level because folks like you think it's ok to give special treatment. Give the building project to a family member or a close friend, pay extra for the job. a little kick back here, a little kick back there. I know it happens, but when caught they should face the Judge.

Didn't you just absolve the Koch Brothers from the actions of thier father Fred Koch who was pro segregationist and founder of the John Birch society? You said something about separating the father from the sons? All this in the context of segregationist behavior by the sons?

But now you can't do the same thing because you think it casts aspersions on Obama?

Don't you find that a wee bit hypocritical?
