If one is born and raised in the LDS church (such a wasted childhood, 4 years of "forced" Seminary, all those YM/YW outings, being "forced" to sit on the podium and break the bread and reading a whole-hearted "Oh God, the Eternal Father, we ask thee in the name of thy Son....", etc. etc. etc.) and I leave the church (Done!) could I be considered anti-LDS?

I wonder if I could sue the LDS church for the harm it has done to me and the mental condition it has left me in (all those "interviews? with the Bishop asking me about my masturbation habits, etc.).

Apparently you have no testimony of Christ and the Eternal Father. We do not force noone to be in the church. Those interviews were done by your bishop just to keep you from doing all the wrong things in life. Obviously he did not have a whole lot of success with you. I do not know who you are but I will keep you in my prayers.

lol, that church didn't harm you. You harmed yourself by being involved in all of those activities for so long. You could have rebelled at any time and suffered the consequences but, you would have been out of a church that in HIND SIGHT you now speak so badly of.
Your a sorry excuse for excuses lol.

I cant believe those evil mormons would force you to do all these horrible things!!!!!!!!!!
not.
Just because you left the church because a lack of faith doesnt automatically make you anti-mormon.
You can always repent.

OH, BOO-HOO ! Another anonymous internet wank trying to surf the wave of victimhood.

Nobody is forced to attend LDS church outings , sit on the podium, break bread or confess the bishop about their masturbation dramas. Your “mental condition” has more to do with your own desire to exploit well meaning people’s attempt at helping you GROW UP!

A boot camp might have rendered better results, in your case. Grow a sack of balls and take accountability for your own shallow and petty existence.

Huh, okay. Now don't "force" your kids to get baptized when they are 8. Let them decide for themselves. Don't manipulate them into your beliefs. Oh, and when they become a teenager, let them skip Sacrament if they like. After all, you said it, nobody "forces" you to go. But then you'll have to explain to the Bishop why little Jimmy refuses to come to Sacrament and Ward functions. No doubt you'll lose that calling to Sister Jones. Then I'm sure you'll put pressure on Jimmy to attend.

Nothing like "free agency" and allowing your kids to decide if the church sucks or not. Right?

Mormon parents. Master Manipulators.

"Grow a sack of balls and take accountability for your own shallow and petty existence."

Sorry, can't do it. My parents (the jerks) failed to use birth control and/or abort me when they had a chance.

Result? Me, the loser asshole born and raised in the church.

I wonder why I chose those as sholes when I "passed" through the veil?

Not hard to catch on to how this works.

Evangelicals read a superficial pamphlet about Mormonism; then post under anonymous identities, whining about how worthless their parents were and how the LDS church "abused" them.

Genius strategy !

Makes you wonder how many other Bishops sit behind their desk "interviewing" the YM & YW whilst rubbing their crotch listening to their "transgressions".

Say, do they still recommend The Miracle of Forgiveness when YM & YW get together and "do it"?

I was raised by evangelicals and I'm not happy with my upbringing. I'm not mad at my parents. I just think they are misguided. I do think that I was some what traumatized by my religious upbringing, but I'm sure I didn't have it near as bad as LDS kids. I believe all of these angry posters really are LDS and not Evangelicals trying to sham any one. I have had mishies come to my door and talk to me a bunch and my deceased aunt was LDS.

I believe these posters.

Hey! NoMo. I'll say Merry Christmas to be polite. And a hearty Blessed Yule. I'm not serious about paganism like some nerd LotR freak(which was a good series btw but u know what i mean), but after having the evangelical indoctrination process performed on me and not taking, I would like to revert to my prechristian(kristjan) roots.

I no longer celebrate christmas. Since my children are almost adults I feel like I'm not making waves. I havent started yet but I think I am going to start celebrating twelve days of Yule. Culminating on a twelth night party complete with leaping a Yule log.

Happy Holidays NoMo.
