As Christians who voted for you, PLEASE DO NOT add the words, "sexual orientation" and "gender Identity" to the Idaho Human Rights Act that the LGBT advocates are asking for. PLEASE let the legislature know that the vast majority do not agree with what LGBT wants.

What is your problem with what LGBT want?

Your attitude resembles that of Hiltler's. Who didn't like Jews, gypsies, and blacks like Jesse Owens.

No one should be discriminated against. I can see that you do not believe that, or else you would not have written such a vile post.

Uninformed bigots are you? 50 years ago you would have for racial discrimination as well.

I guess the first amendment should apply to only those people sharing your opinions. So much for your libertarian point of view.

Google it yourself. The definition fits homosexuals and transvestites to a tee.

You did not provide the definition did you? Explain just how homosexuals and transvestites fit that definition.

You make the claim, you back it up with evidence. Are you too lazy to do that or can't you do this?

Interesting that you should say that, just yesterday I was having a conversation with one of my progressive friends, his view on gays is....."put them all on a remote island, since they can't procreate they will die out within 60 years."

Not looking for an argument, I didn't point out to him that gay people weren't necessarily born to gay parents.

Strictly speaking, gay parents could not have natural children.:).

Do I really need to post a link to dictionary.šom? Or are you really that lazy to take 30 seconds to look it up.

THe problem is that the dictionary.com definition uses subjective notions such as "abnormal" and "unnatural"

Note abnormal

adjective
1.
not normal, average, typical, or usual; deviating from a standard: abnormal powers of concentration; an abnormal amount of snow; abnormal behavior.

This does not imply that being abnormal is a bad thing or a sin.

And unnatural

1.
contrary to the laws or course of nature.
2.
at variance with the character or nature of a person, animal, or plant.
3.
at variance with what is normal or to be expected: the unnatural atmosphere of the place.
4.
lacking human qualities or sympathies; monstrous; inhuman: an obsessive and unnatural hatred.
5.
not genuine or spontaneous; artificial or contrived: a stiff, unnatural manner.

Again, nothing in thus definition implies that being unnatural is a bad thing. If we focus on 5. However, homosexuality and transgenderism are not things that people choose, and therefore cannot be considered unnatural on the basis of 5. According too 4. People who rant against and advocate discriminate against homosexuals and transgenders are unnatural. Definition 3 and definition. 1 do not imply that being unnatural is a bad thing.

Definition 2 implies that it is unnatural for a homosexual or a transgender person to attempt to change his/her nature. Again, people do not choose their sexual orientation or identity.

So, being homosexual or transgender, cannot be considered to be bad things on the grounds that they are unnatural, or abnormal.

I guess you just think it is a sin because certain passages in the Bible say so. Jesus did not hate people for what they are. Did you miss that part of the message?

That was my point, just poor choice of words as to where gay children come from.
I hope you understood my point.

Apparently you could not finish the post. Judgments that things are "abnormal" (meaning not typical of a class of things) and "unnatural" (meaning artificial) does not imply that thing so judged is actually morally reprehensible. Examples: people who are extremely talented are not normal, and technology consists of artifacts (unnatural objects) are not bad in themselves.

So, 1 does not do what you believe it to.
