There are 16 comments on the www.episcopalchurch.org story from Oct 11, 2010, titled Chaplains join search for answers in young man's suicide. In it, www.episcopalchurch.org reports that:

[Episcopal News Service] After fielding phone calls from anxious parents and talking to students since Rutgers University freshman Tyler Clementi left a suicide note on his Facebook page and killed himself after his sexual encounter with another man was broadcast online, the campus' Episcopal Church chaplain went to see "The Social Network," the movie about Facebook's origins.

"I'm still learning and my task as a chaplain in part is to continue to engage people long after this is in the headlines and try to constructively engage them in quieter times," the Rev. Greg Bezilla, chaplain of the Rutgers Episcopal Campus Ministry ...

from episcopalchurch:

"At Rutgers, there were protests and vigils, but Bezilla noted that they were attended by a few hundred from among the 38,000 students on its main campus that sprawls across the New Jersey cities of New Brunswick and Piscataway."

Perhaps many Rutgers students objected to the PC bloodlust directed against Clementi's roommate and his girlfirend, neither of whom has had their day in court.

Joe - Your Church of Rome moral standards are certainly on the level of the Bishop of Rome.

When will the dead boy that was the victim of the pictures will have his day in court?

I hope the parents sue the hell out of Rutgers for failure to follow-up on the dead boy's complaints to both the faculty and RA in his dorm regarding the 'picture taker' being a bully and dangerous.

If he complained its not an easy case because there is a legal principle that if it couldnt be anticipated they can get out of trouble this dates back to a case that is a precedent in 1918 where a guy brought a box of dynamite into a train station dropped it on the railroad tracks it exploded injured a woman the judge said it couldnt be anticipated SHE DIDNT GET ANY MONEY in columbine the only family that recieved money compensation was the family of the teacher that bled to death for ten hours because it couldnt be anticipated .

the problem with the it couldnt be anticipated principle is that it may based on reverse antisemitism because the judge was jewish he may not have wanted the woman to get anything because she wasnt jewish ,some jews have an agenda that all the money gold and real estate belongs to them a goy is a jewish slang expression for a non jew it is considered deragatory .

What does any of your babbling have to do with either the topic of this thread or TEC?

LOL - Why did you post the article?

Do you think that a bully should be allowed to walk away from his actions?

Do you think parents shouldn't be concerned?

Do you think that TEC (or any other church) should not speak out against a bully?

Do you think that TEC (or any other church) should not offer comfort to those in pain and sorrow?

Just wondering. What is your view and that of your own Church of Rome regarding abuse and bullies?

Nothing! Her puppet master has taken a leave of absence. It is very obvious when sock puppet is left out here on her own.

The rooomate hasn't been convicted of anything, and the Rev. Greg Bezilla is the chaplain of the Rutgers Episcopal Campus Ministry; the story itself comes via Episcopal Life, and that's why it's here.

You and Joe and Think Again and Avenger are in the wrong forum.

You would think that your own churches would be a better place to spend your time then attempting to change TEC.

Dear sweet Alfred, step away from the computer screen and go out into the world and sing out in a loud voice:

Rejoice!

God loves you!

Thanks be to God.

When one cannot defend their own position, they tend to lash out at others. Without Ken here to give her the words, all she has left is to bring up the Roman Catholic Church.

A terrible tragedy that a young man kill himself but what happened was not bullying. There was an invasion of privacy and, subject to whatever the investiagition ultimately reveals, that invasion of privacy may have been the reason for his suicide. We will probably never know everything that went into the decision he made. One young man is dead and the two young people who broadcast that video will carry the responsibility for their "prank" for the rest of their lives.

I don't need RevKen. That is your fantasy. I could just as easily ask you about your relationship to other male posters here.(lol - actually I have done that haven't I - hate makes strange bedfellows as I remember)

LOL - Have I mentioned that I still wonder why Pagans like you come here for recreation.

We are here delivering the clarion call for you and TEC to come back into the faith delivered to the saints. So far you are resisting furiously in deference to your own will and justification of sin.
