What does it have to do with ANYTHING? Shows you have no off-line friends or interests or activities, or else it shows an insatiable need to show off on these pages. Having made a total pratt of yourself repeatedly in recent weeks, I would think the luster would be wearing off.
Oh, and no need to follow you around to count the number of posts when it is clearly shown on every post you make. You really HAVE lost yer marbles.
Yet another armchair psychologist.

Not only do I have a plethora of friends but I also volunteer for more than 10 hours a week at my church's youth group.

Maybe I just simply like to utilize my free time in something other than watching the mindless drivel on tv or reading worthless Liberal rags that pass as newspapers in NY.

Something like that would NEVER occur to you because your life is made whole by MY existence and your insatiable desire to try to Libel me.

Some day your heart will find something else to obsess on and I will be free of your unwanted and irritating fixation with me.

I wouldn't give those others a second thought. They just have nothing else better to do than to point out the proper way to socialize and make friends, because quite frankly, they have none.

Donate for zaidi. A shoe in the hand is worth two in the Bush! Congrats my yute! The most inspired (and inspiring) act of the last few years...al-Zaidi shoes Bush on behalf of "the widows, the orphans and those who were killed in Iraq". What an eloquent protest! Bush must also be congratulated for his restrained response...if only he had been as restrained about 'the war on terror' and invading Iraq

Thanks sweetie. I've missed you too.
You are a complete and utter moron, who can't see past hos own nose.
I respond to you with the same lines because it's all your simple mind can comprehend. You stalk me from topic to topic and whine about the same old garbage and once in a while you actually post this same armchair psychology garbage that is so far from the truth it's laughable.
You know nothing about me except the picture you've made up in your mind because you can't refute any of the actual arguments I've made when we actually did debate on a subject.
You're petty and insignificant and you attack me because you can't ever challenge me intellectually. There are plenty of posters here and on other threads that do, but you're simply not one of them.
Run along now and cry in your beer because you know no matter how hard you try you can't stand toe to toe with me in a debate because you're just barely brighter than a garden gnome.
Do you ever respond to a comment without being insulting?

Sure enough the conservative traitors (fascists) blame all this on liberals! Brought up during a time of historical revisionism? Are you referring to the 60's? Yeah, revisionism... like the notion that black people aren't inferior.
Conservatives have nothing to say. They should be slapped and then ignored.
The point of Huck Finn, to anyone who understands literature at all, was an ironic one... that the West side of the river which was "wild and savage" (Native) was where they found freedom. And that N----- Jim, treated like a subhuman by the whites, was the wisest man in the book, who taught Huck the truth about life.
Get it?
Hey if you want some frustrating reading, try Kafka.
And if you want to be REALLY frustrated, try reading Kafka in the original German.

(Not as bad as Thomas Mann, though).

Maybe Huck Finn should be presented within a context of explaining that in our history, racism was so enmeshed within the fabric of our society, that most people were not even conscious that there was anything unusual about using the N-word, or that there was anything wrong with singling out an entire group of people for derogatory treatment. There's a much bigger story here that should be told.

"about using the N-word"

When you write a phrase like that, or when I read one, all I can think of is "the Emporer has no clothes".

Actually the majority of the time. people only tend to remember the insulting one's though. It's how you get a reputation.

I'd say that 80% of my posts are simple debate or commentary with no insults at all.

The particular post you replied to came with some history so, naturally there was going to be animosity. I mean seriously. 3 guys (or one guy with three screen names) pop around from topic to topic and attack me (never EVER mentioning the subject at hand) just for s#!ts and giggles. My favorite part is that they ALWAYS claim I'm the one without a life.

Say waht you will about my posts but one thing is for certain....In all of my posts on Topix I have NEVER followed another poster around and ridiculed him or her for no apparent reason other than my own personal vendetta.......

SO, would that be "The Emperor has no clothes" the Speech by Senator Byrd in 2003?

Or did you mean "The Emporer's New Clothes" as in Hans Christian Anderson's 1837 fairy tale?

Either one doesn't really fit. Since using that word is still highly offensive to blacks and whites.

"The Emporer's New Clothes" is about feigned PCness, which is quite different than choosing NOT to use a word that is highly offensive.

As a side note it's interesting to look back and see Byrd complain about "rushing through an $87 billion spending bill" in one month, to pay for troops and the weapons they needed, but rushing through the pork barrel laden $800 billion "stimulus package" in 4 days was "necessary"

And also ironic that Byrd is a racist too....

I remember reading this book in Jr. High. I went to an all white school, wasn't a rule saying so, it's just the way it was. Teacher said I had the decision if I wanted to take part in the reading and class discussions of the book. Of course I chose to participate. It's not a bad book.

You and I have had some interesting debates and for the most part you have never been insulting or rude to me. As for posters following you around I feel your pain I had a staker also and sad to say I knelt to his level more then once by naming calling also. I am a firm believer in people having the right to express themselves and have said more then once to friends and family (husband included) that we will have to agree to disagree on a subject. So in the future when we disagree I promise no name calling.
