I was in Springfield on Saturday renting videos, and I was going along the wall and there was a video called "Obama". I told the men next to me that I wouldn't waste my time. We talked about Obama. These guys were Arabs and I asked them why they thought Michele Obama headed home following her visit in France instead of traveling on to Saudi Arabia and Turkey with her husband. They said she couldn't go to Saudi Arabia, Turkey or Iraq. I said "Laura Bush went to Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Dubai." They said that Obama is a Muslim and by Muslim law he would not be allowed to bring his wife into the countries that accept Sharia Law. Just thought it was interesting that the Arabs at Blockbuster's accepts the idea that we're being led by a Muslim who follows the Islamic creed. They also said that's the reason he bowed to the King of Saudi Arabia. It was a signal to the Muslim world. Just thought you would like to know.

I just think that you're trying to start another argument on here. No, I do not think Obama is a Muslim. I think that Obama is a Christian and I think he proves it more and more.

I agree Lady Di. This is just a load of crap that Just Wondering has made up. Quite frankly it is a bad story at that. "I was renting videos in Springfield." Do you drive all the way from West Plains? Then there happened to be Arabs looking at the same section? Come on. What are you 12 years old? Does your mother know your on the internet? Go get on your skateboard and play outside with the other kids.

I think he is neither. If he was a christian then he wouldnt be prochoice as he is. I think he went to church for a political stance like so many other people do. He's to liberal to muslim christian or anything to that sence.

I don't think our main concern should be what his religion is. We should be aware and concerned about his policies and the direction in which he is leading the country.

Well I think pro choice for certain cases is okay rape, insest, and as long as the abortion is within the first couple of weeks isnt as bad as 2nd or 3rd trimester abortions i believe them are murder and Disgusted you couldnt nail it on the head better. Who cares what religion he is? Really if you read the Koran and the Bible (i've read both) I dont believe in the Koran but they both say alot of the same stuff as far as morals are concerned. Extremist muslims have taught to kill christians as much as extreme christians have done the same to them. I care about his policies and what he's gonna do or not gonna do.

I do believe he is Muslim. But that is NOT what worries me about him. I think he is a VERY dangerous man. I do not think the man cares one hoot about the USA. He is only there for the power the office gives him. He is going to distroy our country. I worry about our country right now. I hope and pray everyday that I am wrong, but I do not think so.

WS Lady Di wrote: I'm a Christian and I'm pro choice. Many people are. I do not personally believe in abortion except in extreme situations but I think every person ultimately has to make their own moral decision and live with their choice. In my opinion, the government should just not be involved in the whole mess. I do take some issue with tax dollars paying for abortions. If someone wants to have an abortion for convenience instead of necessity, I don't want to help pay for it. I'm sure others have an entirely different view about it. It's just a complex issue on many levels. Morally you can be against it but politically speaking, is it an infringement on personal rights? Then there's the whole point on the rights of the unborn child. It's kind of like gay marriage. Maybe government should have stayed out of it and let marriage be ordained by the church not by the state. Then the state could allow couples to form legal contracts regarding all the property, insurance and those type of issues. Then as far as the state was concerned, everyone would have civil unions and it would be left up to the couple if they wanted a "marriage" which is a religious union. Maybe that's an insane idea......yep, it probably is..... Sometimes a person doesn't know what to think about it all. It's a complicated world we live in!

That is exactly how I have felt for the past 8 years! I finally feel that someone is in office who cares now. Funny how that works.

Okay his dad was a muslim from Africa and his mom was a christain from Kansas lord knows how they met but they did. He was a member at a weird Cathlic church for 19 years. I believe he cares more about the US then Bush did. (I dont think neither one really loves it that much. So Brack Hussein Obama was because his dad named him. People can call him a Muslim, but go over to a muslem country. Their muslim believers actually practice their religion we just fake our christian beliefs.

Duh Huh wrote: Is there a certain religion that a president HAS to be??? If not, then what is the issue here??? Valid point. The problem I see is if a person chose to lie about their religion (or if they have no religion at all) instead of openly admitting their beliefs whatever they are.

I know lots of christians that are pro choice. I could be included in that section as well. I had a child at a very young age, and would never personally have an abortion, but I dont believe I have the right to tell others what they can or cannot do. they can make their choices, and face the consequences later.
