Were the animals found in terrible conditions? Were they neglected? What's the sensation to this news story?

Nothing illegal with those animals as long as they weren't abused or neglected.

Agreed!

In the article, it mentions that the owner was hospitalized. It didn't say whether or not he called them or not. The article also didn't say anything about the animals (except the tarantula) being in bad condition.
The main thing thing is that they're all in good hands now.

The fact that the owner "had been hospitalized" had something to do with it, don't you think?

If the owner is in the hospital, the owner can't simultaneously be taking care of animals.

Therefore, the animals were neglected.

wow, talk abut a low blow - first he or she is hospitalized for whatever, then loses their beloved pets. there was no agency to take care of them - or at least some of them until he or she gets home?

No news here. The woman was hospitalized and told the authorities about her pets. They obviously were well cared for. I think Roy & the ASPCA missed the mark. No story move it along.

7lb 8oz Baby Jesus gave us a precious gift of a guilty verdict. We should all be happy that baby Jesus doesn't like John White and thank him for his verdict.
