Are these officials for real. For days the street repair people are fixing cracks in the road accomplishing only 3 blocks. This is not a complaint about them as they are on the job.It is the logic and the time it takes to do the job.Everything is always done ass backwards with the present staff. The pot holes[plenty of them] should of been the priority over crack filling and with the time it takes to do 1 block using Garys crack filling machine you can re-tar an entire block. What a waste of our money. He pats himself on the back proudly over the purchase of this machine but the cost effectiveness makes this purchase unacceptable.

I cant wait to see the break down of the time this is taking them and how much we are being charged.
4 to 5 guys a day, 5 to 6 hours a day at what, 15 an hour?
5 guys times 6 hours equals 30 hours total a day at 15 an hour equals 450 dollars a day in just labor. so close to 2500 a week in labor, not to mention the material and machine, all to fill cracks that are already starting to open again. Thats some sound fiscal wheeling and dealing that Gary is doing there.
And he wants to get paid now? F HIM!!

The Town employees work for less? Really?.. If they didn't do the work you would complain too.

gary's "new" way to fix the potholes and cracks in the streets were used by freeport, smithtown, and the brentwood school district. all of them are in a state of disrepair and have stopped using this product. again. no research was done. if it was, then we wouldn't have wasted yet more taxpayer dollars on something that just doesn't work. this filler looks great for a month or two and then is back to looking like garbage.

great job yet again

Once again, the TOB would/does a better job then Gary and the misfits could. I cant believe for one second that this will cost less in the long run. I wanted what they PROMISED. To handle "code enforcement" for slum homes and NOT take control over Highway. But again, the MBVEC didnt do their homework when it came to EXPLORING what it would take to run a village. Now we are stuck with two guys and a truck handling miles and miles of roadway. Leave it to the MBVEC and the vision team to mess things up once again. And yes, the MBVEC and vision team are still in charge and are still f-ing us over large.

Knowing full well who you are, you NEVER wanted a village. MBVEC made mistakes, but their intentions were pure and honest. The village may have a few vestiges from MBVEC, but it is patently unfair to paint them with the same brush...and I know you are familiar with painting.

wrong. They are the same people who lied to get us where we are today. With a group of misfits who have no idea how to run a village. And I'm not Maura. Just one more person in a long list of people who are sick of the lies.

Stupidest line to date.... MBVEC "intentions were pure and honest."
If you believe that load of BS then I have a village to sell you at no cost.

Pure and honest, like the Mayor and Deputy Mayor staing at a village meeting that Gary wasnt tring to get a mobile phone tower on his property and that they were just rumors?

Pure and honest, like Gary giving a no bid contract to DHS and claiming they were not related?

Pure and Honest, like Gary claiming he had permission from DEC to use the fill that the village ended up getting fined for?

My only verifiable complaint is that they do not post that there is road repair going on. We all have places to go and in a specific time frame. If I am driving to the city, I will give my self time, but if I am just driving to pick up my kids from school or to a local appointment, I know how long it should take, so I am a bit tighter on time. It would be nice to know a few blocks out that the road will be closed so I can go on another road.

I am not going to argue over how good the road repair machine is or the cost of it vs repaving etc.. I am uninformed on that issue and will not complain just to bitch.. Get the facts, then make a good, logical argument.

something tells me the MBPOA is going to be just fine. how many lawyers has Frank and the village attacked them with? And NOTHING has ever happened to them. How many cases has the judge thrown out from both Frank and the village? So what happens? They just keep re-issuing new claims and re-filing. I cant wait until the MBPOA starts counter suing for harassment to both Frank and the Village. How funny would it be if The MBPOA got a restraining order against the village to stay off their property?
I say call the police whenever code enforcement is parked at the marinas "spying" on them or make the village get a membership and a sticker on their car. Rules are rules and we ALL should following them, not just a few.

The MBPOA is not suing anyone and I doubt they will. They are being sued and from what I can tell as a member they paid for insurance and are being represented under that insurance policy. Unlike us village taxpayers who have to pay to sue the MBPOA. You know what irks me the most? The village has never, ever said what they will do with the waterfront or Marinas. Maybe people would agree with suing the MBPOA if we knew what was in store.

If the first Zoning that was proposed is a clue to what the Village wants to do we should not be supporting their efforts. Remember - Commercialize the entire waterfront? What a stupid idea that was.

PS - How much have we taxpayers paid for this endless lawsuit to get the properties we already own?

if you read the village code, you would know what is in store. there is a section that states that nobody can use the village marina's or waterfront without a permit from the village. there is also a section that deals with bulkheading (we don't have that now). that is the direction that the village wants to go. i do not think my tax dollars should be used to pay lawyer after lawyer after lawyer. if the village doesn't hear what it wants to from it's lawyer, the lawyer is fired. how much money has been spent on retainers to different lawyers? how much has been spent altogether on this lawsuit? our government is not transparent. it is secretive. you seem to be a supporter of the village and even you do not think that they have a plan.

The last lawyer was simply incompetent he was pushed on the village by the convicted criminal who is now advising the MBPOA - By the way, there are in multiple lawsuits with several residents in our village who have been forbidden to use the clubs marinas - so please do not push the lies to try and make this association sweet and harmless they are A PRIVATE CLUB they have stated that in court papers and they want control. The reason the village is forced to spend tax dollars is because the association refused to honor the deed and has stolen the marinas from the people of Mastic Beach. The Village should have simply taken possession of the Marinas, as outlined in the duly filed deeds -and had the association sue the village - they would be bankrupt by now. Your tax dollars, if you actually pay tax are being spent to protect the residents interest not line the pockets of a private club and their convicted felon advisor.

So Freddy the criminal is trying to pay back MBV by helping MBPOA...very interesting. A word of caution: he doesn't work for free, and he is probably recording you.

So what? The marina is being fixed despite all of Garys plans to keep them closed and there is nothing the village can do about it. The Village forced this to happen. If they werent such babies about it and gave the POA they same type of leniency they gave Gary, this wouldnt be an issue.
Im guessing that as well as the 'family no bid contracts' is why the DA is interested in them. But that just my opinion. Maybe the DA isnt doing anything, maybe they dont care about a small time government abusing its powers? Anything can happen.

Again when you can separate out the 2,000 or so homes that are not in the original 10 sections of Mastic Beach then you might be able to get somewhere with the lawsuit. Only the lot owners in the original ten sections are covered in the deed. How do you separate out the rest?

Of course you want the village to get the properties you live outside the ten sections.

Your amazing. It's a good thing you didn't oppose the village. We would still be part of the town if you had.

As soon as the judge hears about your legal argument, the case will be thrown out. You should make sure the mbpoa lawyer has this information, asap.

It's a good thing the mbpoa never expanded their membership outside their original ten sections.

I don't know who you are, but you go girl. You're spot on with your legal thinking.
