For prepper community you need certain type of people within that group to teach each other. Like a military person, a medical person, a gardener, meal preparer, buy bullets now and forget the bleach, you will have to learn to purify water without bleach. You also need a builder, electrician for solar. A teacher for children. Bug out locations are good for temporary setups. Being able to set up and survive in the wild is what you need. Being able to always be on the move. Live of the land. As far as medical you need to stock up on animal antibiotics. Tourniquets. All the preppers that bunker down better have a second thought. I am going to come with my gun and take your stuff. You should also start training a couple dogs for defense and hunting. I would love to be in a prepper community. I am a single woman looking for a strong prepper man, lol

I concur with you also. One thing...water purification: don't discredit something that may save your life one day. People want all the info possible to survival in the primary stages of an event. Having a community with all forms of trade skills would be beneficial, but highly unlikely in initial stages. Trust being the issue. People will do dumb thing's when they get hungry. I agree about stocking up on ammo, although it's getting difficult to locate lately. Self defense and weapons training is a plus, and there was a fellow from Greenbrier Co that offered a camp for such thing's. Although it has been years since I have seen him, maybe a little research into that. NOTE: for those who become nomads, drifting around and taking, will not have a warm welcome rolling up on a prepper!

Start preparations now, write up your plan followed by a backup plan, followed by a backup plan for the backup plan and so on... Double and triple check everything. If something gets out of whack, don't panic, asses the situation, add a little hillbilly ingenuity and press on.

Very interesting topic... shame there isn't more people on board with preparation of thing's to come, especially in a spiritual sense, having a map of events in the Word of God.

Use Honey As An Antibiotic Treatment For Wounds

http://www.knowledgeweighsnothing.com/use-hon...

Honey is a great antibacterial for wounds. It kills bacteria and helps cuts, scrapes, burns and even ulcerated wounds heal...
