Union County crash kills man | The Columbus Dispatch

A man died last night after a head-on crash on Rt. 739 in northern Union County.

This road (739) is a deadly road. I grew up about 3 miles from this country road. In my lifetime there were many deaths on this winding twisting highway with many families enduring these tragedies. Please be aware someone just lost their brother, son, cousin, nephew etc..
Richwood and Essex may be tiny unknown communities to many readers, but I can understand the sorrow and loss for these families. Please try to be kind in your comments, and may YOU never have to experience this in your family or circle of friends.

I would just like to say for those who knew this young man he will be missed so deeply, he was one of the sweetest young man I have ever met and was a good dear friend to my daughter who will miss him terribly. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. God Bless

Patrick was a very loved person. He had so much potential and was getting ready to start his life with his girlfriend who is pregnant with Patrick's baby. His father Glen liggett and his sister Linsey liggett are going through a very rough time and for you people to make fun of that is ridiculous. Patrick was a person who is miss deaply. I am a resident in Richwood ohio and I know that this tragety has effected the entire town. We love you patty and you will always be in our hearts forever. This is a terrible tragedy, but I believe the earlier comment was not making fun of anyone but the Columbus Dispatch for the lack of information that was on their site earlier. (More information was added to the site later in the day, such as who was involved..which the Columbus Dispatch would not have had until it was released.) You do not need anymore pain right now.
