with the upcoming redrawing the districts lines, it could be more rural democrats and urban republicans in the future

Yeah, that LaMalfa, he's one of us.

We all get millions of dollars in taxpayer subsidies right?

How can a rich rice farmer that gets a handout of millions of dollars from the Federal Government call himself a conservative? If people looked closer, they would find that many so-called conservatives feed at the taxpayer trough.

Funny how we fall for this "conservative" ploy. With conservatives like these guys, now wonder our nation has so much debt.

LaMalfa is a far right extremist, his efforts to portray himself as a moderate are laughable. His principle activity in Sacramento is protecting the bloated California Corrections budget, he's a stooge for the prison guard union. He supports dismantling our excellent state colleges, universities, and community colleges - already underway thanks to LaMalfa and his pals. California was once known for it's great colleges and Universities - these colleges gave working class famlies and chance for thier kids to go to college, a chance at the American dream of success and prosperity. This LaMalfa
prefers instead to take the money spent on higher education and give it to the prisons. Instead of kids going to college we get instead $60,000 a year prison guards who spend all day babysitting guys that wouldn't even be in jail in other states. LaMalfa's links to the prison guard union, one of the most hideous labor unions ever, is the reason I'm supporting Keene. He's a conservative who will cut the fat and waste in the budget, but still protect our coleges, such as Chico State, my alma mater.

If Doug LaMalfa is "one of us" , he's out of work, has no health care, or he's got a part-time minimum wage job. In Shasta County, LaMalfa's base, the unemployment rate is 18%. It has the highest number of uninsured workers, the highest number of children without health care in the state. Poverty like you wouldn't believe, in fact. You go into Safeway and there's never a line, nobody has any money. That's why I am backing Keene. Keene will pay attention to the local economy, he not a rice farmer who sits back and collcts federal subsidies. He's a worker, he knows working people, he will put people back to work.

Keene's a lobbiest who went to work for a Sacramento Lobby firm as soon as he was out of the Assembly. He is the consimate Sacramento insider who is willing to be baught off for a good paying job. What did Keene have to do to get that lobby job?
