Hell, I like the idea of stopping the rich who made their wealth off working Americans from investing it in companies/countries off -shore that put Americans out of work.

That's one way of getting all available capital out of America really quickly!

My next questions is who is next? The rich aren't going to be here very long but our governments appetite for money wont go away just because they move off shore.

Regulations have consequences and bad regulations have bad consequences!

I do not give much credence to this Stansburry, but I agree with you that it is a good idea to restrain the wealthy from investing in companies abroad, at least until such a time there is full employment in the US of A.

I think the idea of restraining people from making decisions concerning there own money is pretty presumptuous and very un-American. Capital flows in search of return on investment. If the US has an inviting regulatory atmosphere, competitive tax rates, solid system of justice, and a promising economy then we will have all of the capital that we need to grow our industries.

Unfortunately, under our current administration most of these ingredients are lacking. The pro Obama, blind following democrats can sit around and blame Bush all they want but our flagging economy is a direct reflection in the world's lack of faith in the policies and leadership of this sitting president!

RIght, CRANKY, Right!

We are supposed to eliminate taxes on the wealthy and gut down all meaningful regulations so the monied can pollute as much as they want while endangering and taking advantage of consumers

The one truly "un- American thing" is for the wealthy to export jobs overseas because of the virtually free labor,. especially when American workers go lacking.

Hell, we ought to have an "inviting regulatory atmosphere" such as China's, were if a firm screws up resulting in the death of Chinese citizens the owners are shot, no if's and buts!!!

If I understand the krankster, he's saying screw the working people of the U.S. and he could care less now that the wealthy have turned the U.S. into a third world country where the population are mere slaves to the plutocrats.

Careful Gramps! Since the recession began that bush and the repubicans started many of those snobs in wally -mart buying that Chi -Com junk/trash are the rich/wealthy who have figured out that shopping at wally -mart is a good way to further shaft the middle class.

There are several people that I know who looked down at me for shopping Costco and Winco when the economy was going gang busters butt who lost everything and now get upset when point out that they're lower on the ladder than I am.

The economy would be doing one hell of a lot better if the plutocrats and their wealthy buddies hadn't decided to send their money off shore, mainly to screw Obama and the middle class.

I hate to say it, but the way capitalism is practiced today it is not that much better than so called communism, they both end up screwing the working man.

Tell the government to de regulate business such as abolish the minimum wage and the national labor relations board. Let employers establish wages commensurate with value of work and skills so that US factories have a chance to compete and we would begin to see some job growth and factory expansion here as opposed to China.

Business can grow and provide good jobs if they are free to make the basic decisions of how to operate. When government gets involved and mandates nonsensical rules and costs then capital / jobs leave. When government levies to high of taxes then capital and jobs leave.

Liberals have no concept about the way businesses work and they really don't seem to care to learn.

If repubicans weren't either gutless moronic lemmings or thieves we wouldn't need so many laws to protect the masses.

Do you republicans not know why the recession were just now digging ourselves happened?

In a sense you righties are saying that if we take the laws against murder off the books no one will kill anyone else.

Yeah baby, deregulate everything ........

I don't need to call you names. Just let you speak and all will understand that you know not of what you are saying!

You are so far away from understanding the basic economic functions of this country it is frightening. What is happening to our educational system? Oh yeah, the government that is what!

Ah contraire! I know exactly how basic economics function in this country. The wealthy take from the working class and without laws/regulations they wouldn't return anything butt a pittance.
