The vast majority of people have no idea what is in store for them with Obamacare. A lot of people here free and then the logical thought processes shut down.

I am sure that poll is accurate. But the mistake you guys always make is in interpreting it.

The percentage of people who don't think Obama care is good for the country includes people like you who would like to go back to the way it was before or something. BUT it also includes a large percentage of people who think "Obamacare" did not go far enough, and that it is not good for the country because it should have been single payer, medicare for all, complete socialized medicine.

If you look deeper at the numbers you will see that. A large percentage of that said they don't think it is good for the country WANTED MORE, NOT LESS. In short they are not on your side of the argument at all.

And even the ones on your side are just afraid because they don't understand it. Once they are used to it, you will see many of them with signs saying "keep the governments hands off of my Obamacare"...just like the signs at Tea Parties laughably saying Keep the government's hands off my medicare.

oops, you are so full of fallacies I got mixed up as to which fallacious argument you were reffering to here.

Turns out it was your "Democrats ruined the economy" point.

I already proved you wrong on that. You provided a list of questionable sources.

I provided a list of reliable sources saying the opposite. This was post 147 or something like that.

Or how about this:

"How about this from FOX business:

"However, history actually shows that the U.S. economy, stock prices and corporate profits have generated stronger growth under Democratic administrations than Republican ones.

According to McGraw-Hill’s (MHP) S&P Capital IQ, the S&P 500 has rallied an average of 12.1% per year since 1901 when Democrats occupy the White House, compared with just 5.1% for the GOP.

Likewise, gross domestic product has increased 4.2% each year since 1949 when Democrats run the executive branch, versus 2.6% under Republicans.

Even corporate profits show a disparity: S&P 500 GAAP earnings per share climbed a median of 10.5% per year since 1936 during Democratic administrations, besting an 8.9% median advance under Republicans, S&P said.

Due to their “tax-and-spend” reputation, investors expect Democratic administrations to underperform Republican ones and be “poison to any portfolio,” Sam Stovall, chief equity strategist at S&P Capital IQ, wrote in a note.“History shows the opposite to be true, however.”

Then why don't you include the non-green multi-nationals in your list? Not once have you objected to THOSE corporations receiving billions in tax subsidies.
Sam Lowree wrote:
<You Lefties are always demonizing corporations and oversimplifying the tax situation. How exactly are corporations hiding money over seas? If corporations are doing international business then they must follow the tax laws of the countries that they are doing business in. Correct?...
Again, you're ignoring my earlier posts which explain these issues. Here's a quick summary

http://libertyblitzkrieg.com/2013/03/29/shock...

"Companies have also found ways to shift their income across national boundaries, roving from country to country in search of the lowest tax burden. Ed Kleinbard, a tax professor at the University of Southern California Gould School of Law, has dubbed these movable earnings “stateless income.

According to a Congressional Research Service report from January, U.S. multinationals in 2008 reported 43 percent of their overseas profits in Bermuda, Ireland, Luxembourg, the Netherlands and Switzerland, all places famous for having among the lowest tax rates in the world."

Of course it gets much more complicated than just the above. See this site, one of many about how corporations get away with paying little in taxes: http://thehill.com/blogs/on-the-money/interna...
Sam Lowree wrote:
<Of course businesses don’t have access to child tax credit or food stamps, etc. I am for equality. Tax everyone at 15% with the first $25k tax free. Tax all businesses at 15%....
This is a simplistic 'solution', leaving tons of unanswered issues.
Sam Lowree wrote:
<Why should it be illegal? Because you say so? Obviously the law makers feel otherwise....
It should be illegal to give SOME corporations (multi-nationals) tax breaks that other corporations-- and most individuals-- have no access to. Duh. Just because some politicians "feel otherwise" doesn't make it correct. Since when did you start loving our politicians?
Sam Lowree wrote:
<Of course you want more regulations, you state it all the time....
Not true. I have often said that I want smart, efficient, and well-funded regualtions that will stop the Wall Streeters and corporate fat cats from driving our country into the ditch once again. I want smart, efficient, and well-funded regulations that keep our air, water, meds, and food safe.

I want LESS stupid and unneeded regulations on small businesses and on regular people.

Should the government be able to oversee fertilizer factories so that they don't have explosions that kill 14, maim many others, and cause millions in property damage? According to you, since you want to ELIMINATE the EPA, the answer is no. So you DO object to even this basic type of oversight.

What you actually say does NOT correlate with your much loved Bastiat quote.

Really?
"“Four in ten Americans (42%) are unaware that the ACA [Affordable Care Act] is still the law of the land,” the report says,“including 12 percent who believe the law has been repealed by Congress, 7 percent who believe it has been overturned by the Supreme Court and 23 percent who say they don’t know enough to say what the status of the law is.”

The survey showed public opinion on Obamacare is at its second-lowest rating in the past two years.

Less than half – 40 35 percent – of adults viewed the ACA favorably, whereas 35 40 percent said they viewed it unfavorably. Another 24 percent said they did not know or refused to answer."

http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/politics/2013/04/...

And some of the Dems who voted for Obamacare are now saying that it will be a nightmare.

Those 42% of Americans who are unaware that ACA is the law of the land must be the same folks who still have not accepted the fact that BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA is the President of the United States...

As far as surveys go, you ought to go back and peruse post number 193 where CRICKETS clearly explains where all you righties go wrong misinterpreting the ACA surveys....

Hey Gramps, do you know anything about the fires up Chico way? I was listening to the great kfbk right -wing talk radio while out on business yesterday and the kfbk news flash was that the smoke everyone was smelling "was from fires up near Chico"!

No shit smoke comes from fires. They failed to provide any pertinent information as to where, what area is affected, are any structures threatened blah blah blah.

Even their traffic reports are a day late and a dollar short if you know what I mean.

As far as I know, no structures have been affected yet....

Now Road Raisin, you liberals with your selective hearing and reading???
I listened to KFBK this afternoon, and they told exactly where it is, around Butte Meadows, in Butte County!
And Road Raisin, how come you listen to KFBK instead of Air Un-America???
Ooohhh... that's right! they, just like liberalism, are and were a complete and total failure!
"Butt" the only bummer part is? Unlike Air Un-America, liberalism is still destroying America!
You'd think that you morons would get a clue!
