That is a great article and shows what UNREGULATED Capitalism is all about.

Do you think the Tpublicans will learn anything from it?

Nah!!! I don't think so, fools never learn anything from someone else's mistakes.

He learned the most important skill of all, and that is the capability of being able to think for himself instead of letting the conservative echo chamber do it for him.

Husi was supplying meat to KFC, Pizza Hut and McDonald’s restaurants in China.
On Tuesday, Starbucks said some of its stores previously sold products containing chicken originally sourced from Shanghai Husi, a firm that was shut down on Sunday by local regulators after a TV report showed staff using expired meat and picking up meat from the floor to add to the mix.

McDonald's said meat from the supplier had been sold to its branches in Japan where it was used in the firm's McNuggets.

Oh crap, the spelling Nazis is trolling these threads. When they revert to spelling, grammar checking it means they've got nothing.

And just like so many wanna -be intellectuals like el twerpo, popgun doesn't know that by not capitalizing it's a sign of "disrespect".

A California packing company has voluntarily recalled fruit sold at Trader Joe's, Costco, Food 4 Less, Foods Co. and Ralphs stores due to the possible contamination of Listeria monocytogenes.
Wawona Packing Co. in Cutler, Calif., has recalled specific lots of whole white and yellow peaches, white and yellow nectarines, plums and pluots. The products were packaged between June 1 and July 12.
The recall also applies to baked goods that were made using peaches, nectarines and plums from Wawona Packing Co. Ralphs and Food 4 Less
Listeria monocytogenes is the bacterium that causes the infection listeriosis. It is a facultative anaerobic bacterium, capable of surviving in the presence or absence of oxygen. It can grow and reproduce inside the host's cells and is one of the most virulent food-borne pathogens, with 20 to 30 percent of clinical infections resulting in death. Responsible for an estimated 1,600 illnesses and 260 deaths in the United States annually, listeriosis is the third leading cause of death among foodborne bacterial pathogens, with fatality rates exceeding even Salmonella and Clostridium botulinum.

The above mentioned food recall was announced after consultation with the FDA.

It is good to know that the safeguards we have in place prevented many people from coming down with a food borne disease.
