A better question would have been which fine institution of higher learning can claim responsibility for your total inability to comprehend the written English language?
Even a third grader could have easily understood the meaning of the following words:
"...they must rely on the gifts that our community through government have bestowed upon them! Roads, bridges, and laws that keep us safe are all things that government has done for us…"
In other words, no infrastructure and your people do not "create products from raw resources" and even in locales with an infrastructure in place the producers seldom crate anything new until the government shows them, through grants to institutions of higher learning, where good money can be made.
You are a good spokesman for the T Publican party, that's only because you graduated summa cum laude from the Rush Limbaugh school of conservative disinformation.
So... Lamierda de toros, just exactly how did people create products back before there was water, sewer, electricity, and these all phuqedup roads, and bridges that your supposed great government provided for all?
Just how were all of the products produced, developed and transported to make this infrastructure, before there ever was an infrastructure?????

You are just caught in another pathological lie grand baby nicoliar AKA Lamierda de toros.

GN, lets shutdown all business, innovation and individual achievement and oh yes, the tax flow to government because the government only gets paid when people make income! Under that scenario, your government and all its "gifts" will quickly go away and you are left with millions of starving people and all the lawlessness and diseases that would become rampant over night in such a collapse.

The government needs to protect the creative and hard working individual because so goes the successful person, so goes the future!!!

The government didn't invent that electric light bulb, and individual named Thomas did!
Going back in history, the government did not even build roads or bridges, individual people did. In modern society, government has taken on that task in part because of their responsibility for defense of our nation. That infrastructure is not a "gift" from our government however, it represents our tax money as citizens of this nation. Government is beholden to us not the other way around.
GN, you should consider moving to Cuba or some other nation where government authority is the means and ends of everything. America will likely never make it that far into the national socialist agenda because our people will eventually wake up and throw the would be tyrants out on their collective bottoms!!!

The government did not invent the light bulb but it provided Thomas with a favorable environment where he could safely engage in his endeavors.

Our infrastructure is not a gift from our government but it is a gift from our predecessors, whose tax dollars literally set America on the road to prosperity.

If I were you I would request a refund from my alma matter, because your inability to think clearly prevents you from understanding what our forerunners knew instinctively.

KRANKY, instead of me moving to Cuba I respectfully suggest you move to, let's say Iran that will give the rest of us a chance to lay odds on how long you will last after you begin criticizing their government.

What is your point?

You don't have to convince us that you are stupid, but if you think things were better before the days of running water, sewers, electricity, roads and bridges then I suggest you make an appointment with your mental counselor STAT!

The government has been protecting the creative and smart working individuals all along, but…

It is unfortunate you have been duped into believing that "hard work" equates with success and, as you and many of your ilk found out, it does not.

So instead of accepting responsibility for your own lack of success you and the rest of the T publicans turn around and blame your failures on the government.

The government did not provide anything to Thomas Edison. The role of government in that day was extremely limited. They may have kept foreign countries from invading us but that was about it. Even the state and county governments had few regulations which worked to every inventors and business persons advantage.

You are hopeless but I can see that the rest of your life will be spent invested in wanting government to take care of you and controlling everyone else. You are the kind of person who cannot mind their own business. I am glad that you are not my neighbor because you are the type to call the county if you think I am breaking the law in any way. You would have done well in the old Soviet system where every busy body is a spy for the state!!!

The governments "limited role" is exactly what allowed Thomas Edison to rip off Nikola Tesla with total impunity, one could say that old Thomas's business dealings were one of the reasons behind a number of regulations we have to deal with today.

The only time the government ever "took care of me" was when I enlisted in the Marines back in the late 60's, on a brighter note, I will never be your neighbor because, thankfully, a whining never do well like you could never afford to be my neighbor!!

That is a funny assumption on your part since you do not know me but I know the area in which you live and will tell you that my neighborhood is likely out of reach for you financially.

You are a pathetic individual and I feel very sorry for your miserable existence. I will keep you in my prayers!

I followed the links you provided and must agree with what most of the reputable sources said.

Only problem is there were numerous errors stated by people slanted towards the bundies.

Most glaring is that a bundy supporter stated that the government took control of the land in dispute in "1940".

Wrong! The government took control of those lands when Nevada was granted statehood.

I defy you or anyone else to post a deed saying bundy owns anything except for the original homestead.

Waco, gun violations and pedophilia.

Ruby Ridge, gun violations.

Get real.

Another lefty who likes our federal government aiming sniper rifles at ordinary people....American men women and children......supposedly because of a turtle?

Now there is a good reason for the obama administration to aim sniper rifles at Americans.
