Sorry guys. I didn't mean to come off so harsh.

I was beat up a lot growing up, and i'm 42 years old now. I still live in my mothers basement, and i just get a little frustrated sometimes, because i've only had sex once in my entire life, and it was with a trans sexual.

Please forgive my ignorance. I was also just fired from my last job cleaning toilets, because i got caught masturebating in the closet at work.

Also, I certainly will not be carrying a weapon. I hope you won't be either! I chose the former pistol range because it's kinda been my "spot" for almost 10 years now. If Duh doesn't want to toke up on this offer tomorrow at dusk, anyone else who's down is welcome to engage in some ol' fashioned civil disobedience.

Only the Joe Castle's and criminal pot smokers who use Prop. 215 as a cover to operate their illegal sales of marijuana. There is no question marijuana leads to violence, neglect of children, and brain dead zombies.
I have no problem with medical marijuana, but it should be regulated by the government through a pharmacy like every other prescription medication. The idea of these pot heads growing their own medication is absolutely ridiculous.
Brilliant. And then, instead of growing a weed in the back yard now the ill can pay up to $2000.00 per month (which is about what artificial THC costs at a pharmacy,(Marinol, check it out for yourself).
Thank goodness for insurance, but what do folks whose insurance won't pay or who don't have insurance?.

And now you want to turn pot over to the loving folks at the drug companies???? Let me guess: You or your loved ones have no need at this time for marijuana's pain killing effects or appitite inducing drugs after chemo, right?

All pot smokers have blood on their hands and this is just further proof how pot wastes a person's brain.
It wasn't long ago that a Chico pot grower was shot at and another north state grower was murdered.
Oh yeah, pot growing scum are a real asset to Chico! Invite one of these criminal creeps to your neighborhood now!
Sorry for using words and ideas too large for your small selfish withered brain (and probably soul as well). Perhaps if you took your remidial courses over one-more-time?

As I said, you moron, why do you insist on making yourself look foolish? Pot is legal and so is copper but you have some warped view that allows you to think your idiotic, chilish statements somehow trump the vote of the people. You're an idiot and a fool. Try getting out of your folks spare bedroom and get a life.

To the posters that want marijuana legalized: How will legalizing it change anything. If it were to be legalized would you be willing to go into a store and purchase it? I am sure that if it were legalized many would still purchase it black market or grow it so they wouldn't have to pay all the taxes that will be placed on it. So in the end you would still have the dealers and the illegal growers.
Personally I don't think the people who are prescribed medical marijuana should be allowed to grow their own. If I need a medication then I go to the pharmacy Since marijuana is being prescribed then it should be a prescription drug with controls. Oh wait that prescription drug is on the market and it is called Marinol.
Marinol. At about $2,200.00 per month, is this what you're recommending? Try to get your insurance to cover it and they'll laugh in your face.

Between the drug companies and the AMA the prices of most medicine plus the cost of writing a prescription is at an all time high. No one has ever overdosed on marijuana so what seems to be your difficulty; too timid?

Yet another dope on dope who, evidently, thinks people voted to legalize pot dealer dealer scum and home invasion robbery! Only a weed sucking fool could come up with something like that!

I bet a dope smoking pinhead like you has never voted in your life, it would interfere with your dope smoking quality time.

I never expect pot head morons to get it. Sucking toxic, brain rotting smoke, into your once pink and healthy lungs is stupid beyond the merely dumb. It even makes you think that drug dealers and home invasion is something the voters of California want and voted for! What utter lunacy.

Keep on smoking and ruining your lungs, your body, and what little mind you have left, you dope, I don't give a crap about doper pot heads. Please, destroy yourselves as soon as possible and stay the hell out of our neighborhoods.

Hey, what do you have against basement living, you silly dope smoking poser? It is energy efficient, sustainable, has low environmental impact, and quite comfortable. I own my basement, which is more than I can say for you. You don't even posses a mind.

On a side note, was low life stoner-grower-dealer scum Bryan Epis illegally growing pot in his mother's basement or was he a renter? Hmmmmm.

"DUH" You need to smoke a bowl and chill out. Oh, you probably take Valium or Xanax, maybe some Oxy Cotton. Pot is much less dangerous than many legal drugs! Have you ever heard of a marijuana overdose? The fact that it’s illegal is what brings violence. People kill and rob each other for MONEY. Does that mean we should ban money? Think about it. Oh yeah, did you know George Washington grew pot? Before it was illegal did people kill each other over it?

Children... Oh wait... there is no children reading these threads! DUH!!

No thanks, I'll leave the bowl smoking and other such drug abuse to pinheads like you who absurdly argue with ridiculous and idiotic propositions like "should we ban money" because people steal it.

Kids, please take note! If you smoke pot you will become as stupid as "Citizen". I guarantee it!

By the way, if you try to "grow" money (that is print it and sell it) you are a much a criminal as any low life as any pot dealer scum. Get a CLUE before it is YOU!

By the way, the drug is OxyContin (generic term oxycodone), not Oxy Cotton as the sad doper above puts it.

Oxycodone is an opioid analgesic like morphine, codeine, and heroin. As addictive as these drugs are, they were intended for use to block extreme pain from injury and disease.

California has passed a medical marijuana law so that people who can benefit from the medical use of this plant can do so without fear of being arrested. As long as they follow the law.

What the pot heads in here argue is that marijuana should be completely legalized and anyone allowed to abuse it legally.

The last I checked, it was still illegal to abuse opioid narcotics, even if they are under a prescription. It is illegal to steal them or shop for a doctor to boost your prescription so you can sell them or abuse them yourself. Different states have different laws.

Now, ask yourself, what do the pot heads want? Complete legalization so anyone may freely abuse THC, regardless of age or medical need. To boot, they insist that since people abuse opioids in a criminal manner, pot abuse should be de-criminalized!

Dang, pot heads are just too (not) funny.

If I were a doper like you, I would know all the facts about heroin and I guess "OxyContin" as you so kindly corrected me on how it’s spelled. I’m sure you know how to say it right since you want to make sure you don’t get ripped off when you buy your speed or whatever your sticking up your arse. I bet you die of a heart attack and high blood pressure before you reach 50. Meanwhile the average marijuana smoker will live into his/her 80s! You talk about breathing in toxins and ruining your lungs? Well, cigarettes have hundreds of cancer causing chemicals and kill more people than ANYTHING. Marijuana contains NONE of the cancer causing substances. In fact, it’s used to treat cancer! Let me say this nice and loud for you..... DUH!!!!!!

Actually DUH, back East people were cutting copper gas lines and when people would come home to turn on there heaters there homes would blow up. So yea! It's the criminals, no matter what the product they are stealing that need to be dealt with.

I don't know where you got your information but even on the highest recommended dosage of Marinol 20mg daily (per Sav-On Drugs) it does not even come close to the figure you are quoting.

http://medicalmarijuana.procon.org/viewanswer...
"According to a pharmacist at Sav-On Drugs in Los Angeles, Marinol pills have an average retail price of $1.81 per milligram (2.5mg pill =$1.73/mg, 5mg pill =$2.05/mg, 10mg pill =$1.65/mg). Most patients use 5.0 mg pills.
According to Marinol’s manufacturer, Unimed Pharmaceuticals, AIDS patients are typically prescribed 5 milligrams per day (2.5mg at lunch and 2.5 at dinner) although the dosage is frequently increased to 7.5 milligrams per day (2.5mg at lunch and 5mg at dinner).
Unimed also stated that cancer chemotherapy patients are usually prescribed 15mg (5mg 3x per day) to 20mg (5mg 4x per day) per day."

So 20mg x $1.65/ mg =$33.00/ day
$33.00/day x 31 days =$1023 a month (and that is a 31 month)

"Given Marinol’s status as a Schedule III drug, most insurance companies cover the drug so the actual cost to patients is often $0 or $10-$20 co-payment per prescription."

The problem IMO is that those that want marijuana legalized want to be able to use it and grow it without restriction or taxes.
