The same old bullshit from the right. Who's supposed to pay for those fornicating wars we started in the middle east or pay for our highways and infastructure!

Well, you know....

The right is always complaining about welfare recipients and all those on food stamps and then they turn around and expect to get a sumptuous free lunch in the form of wars they start and they expect the roads and bridges to be maintained for free an I almost forgot, the conservative freeloaders also expect all the public servants to work for a mere pittance....

GE paid 0 (ZERO) taxes in 2009 and 2010 and possibly other years, so how many Americans did they hire with the money they saved on taxes...?

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/03/11/gene...

Here's 30 more companies that paid 0 (ZERO) taxes, how many Americans did they all hire...???

If ExxonMobil earns 486 billion a year and pays 27.3 billion in taxes on 41 billion of net income, why isn't its effective tax rate calculated at 5.6% instead of 42%? Thank you.

Go ask your daddy lil one. It is obvious that you have no clue whatsoever about the subject matter.

Suffice to say that EXXON paid so much in taxes that it is doubtful that they can hire many more folks.
The $$$$Billions they paid in taxes could have provided many, many jobs.

You must be getting senile you ole socialist pos. I answered you already. GE FINANCIAL wrote down BILLIONS and BILLIONS of bad mortgages from the housing crash. You remember, dont you? GE stock went down below 10 bucks...or do you need a link for that.......dummy?
EVERY INDIVIDUAL/BUSINESS can and does write down losses......fool.
President Clinton repealed Glass Steagall(1999), deregulating banks/financial institutions like GE, thereby setting the stage for the housing debacle. It simply took 8 years for that huge mistake to manifest and explode upon on our nation in 2007.

Oh, I get it. You are playing dumb again. Good job. You do it so well most of us can't tell the difference.

Did CEO compensation reflect the tax debt for Exxon or any other Fortune 500 company?

Did the Great Recession reduce CEO compensation?

How many jobs could have been created by funneling back even half of executive compensation?

Look at taxes vs total revenue you get about 6 percent.

No one forced GE Financial to make bad loans to anyone..

Or are you implying that GE Financial purposely made bad mortgage loans so it's parent company could offset some $14 Billion in profits it made in 2010..????

At any rate, judging from your above post, you got absolutely no clue what goes on with GE, best educate yourself....

lots of folks could be working if businesses were not saddled with such high taxes, and the threat of the train wreck called obamacare.

You must hate the average American worker....you don't want them to ever have a decent job.

EXXON reports operating profit down 57%.

When are the liberals going to learn. The more you tax something, the less of it you get.

Wow, you didn't even read your own link, or if you did you didn't comprehend what you read.

Production of NG is down in the U.S. due to a glut (over -supply) that’s driving down prices (revenues).

“Production decreased 1.9% on an oil-equivalent basis, as oil production and natural-gas output were both lower.”

Hello! I own EXXON stock and have known for months that EXXON is the no. one producer of NG in the U.S. and that they’ve been shutting in wells in an effort to limit supply and drive up prices and it hasn’t worked.

Profits are down due to multiple reason that include purchases of other resources and a $4,000,000,000.00 stock buy -back.

And no where in the link does anyone say revenue is down due to taxes or that they, EXXON are considering layoffs.

Gawd you’re a moron!
