Capitalism at it's best! Supplies/inventory up, no competition, excess refining capacity and up go the prices. Thanks to unregulated prices you morons are competing on the world market.

Same thing with your jobs. Your jobs went to the person who would work for the cheapest wages, China, India, Viet Nam blah blah blah.

That is what regressive liberals do best... THEY LIE, always, all of the time, and about everything!!!

People Not In Labor Force Soar By 663,000 To 90 Million, Labor Force Participation Rate At 1979 Levels
hings just keep getting worse for the American worker, and by implication US economy, where as we have shown many times before, it pays just as well to sit back and collect disability and various welfare and entitlement checks, than to work .The best manifestation of this: the number of people not in the labor force which in March soared by a massive 663,000 to a record 90 million Americans who are no longer even looking for work. This was the biggest monthly increase in people dropping out of the labor force since January 2012, when the BLS did its census recast of the labor numbers. And even worse, the labor force participation rate plunged from an already abysmal 63.5% to 63.3%- the lowest since 1979! But at least it helped with the now painfully grotesque propaganda that the US unemployment rate is "improving."
==========

Record high 91.5 million people not included in labor force
A record high 91,541,000 Americans did not participate in the labor force this October.

According to data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), 932,000 people dropped out of the labor force last month, from at total of 90,609,000 in September to 91,541,000 in October.

The BLS defines a person “[n]ot in the labor force” as age 16 and older who are not employed and not considered to be unemployed as they have not looked for work in the four weeks prior to the survey.

The labor force participation rate — or all employed and unemployed people — in accordance with the decline, also hit a record low at 62.8 percent.

When President Obama took office in January 2009, the labor force participation rate was 65.7 percent.

From January 2009 to October 2013, more than 11 million people have dropped out of the labor force — from 80,507,000 to October’s 91,541,000.

Another FINE Tea Bagger Republican STUPID Comment/Response. Do you wear Tie Shoes yet or still only slip ons?

Usually, the Big Oil Refining Corps/ Big OIL COs CLOSE down their Refineries for "Maintenance". Funny how this year there is NO NEED for MAINTENANCE when oil is plentiful, yet the price per gallon of GAS is $4.19 per gallon. WHY, you dumbarse Tea Bagger Republican dupes ask? Because they are EXPORTING GASOLINE to South America therefore shorting US AMERICANS supply thus raising prices. Now that is worth of support by DumbShit Tea Baggers!

And ya thought the KEYSTONE Pipeline would lower AMERICAN GAS PRICES SILLY LITTLE TEA BAGGER! Think AGAIN!

You Tea Bagger Republicans just get dumber every day don't ya now. Must be that you are OPENING your mouths!

Yes, the headline is likely true but there are a few points that have escaped our liberal friends. First, the unemployment numbers are derived by a defined measurement that has been changed over the last couple of years that underrepresents the long term unemployed so the 6.3 number is a joke. The libs knowingly omit that bit of information from all discussions that they have. It is a real deal killer when you are trying to win an argument with someone that has common sense.

Secondly, the price of oil should be relatively stable because fracing has allowed the US to increase our domestic production while overall demand is down because economic activity has really not improved under our neophyte president. GDP for 2013 was 1.9%, not exactly a booming job creating economy!

Have a great evening all.

Why must we retread the same old tired ground time and time again? Maybe because the libs don't seem to learn anything. That also explains why they never change from being liberal. Enlightenment is not an option!

No matter how they parse it, conservatives can not deny that bush the W's administration has the worse job creation record in recent history and that during the waning months of said administration, the Country was losing jobs at a rate of 700,000+ per month. Whereas…

jobs have been growing steadily just about every month of the OBAMA administration.

The reason we retread the same tired old ground time and again is because conservatives insist on doing the same tired old things which never worked.(Except for the wealthy few)
