Not paying attention... probably on the cell phone. There was a lady texting right behind a Chico PD on Forest Ave yesterday evening. I brought the attention to the Police officer and he just shrugged. It is agains't the law and nothing is being done to ticket these people. Same with the red light runners on East 20th Street into the Mall! They litteraly run the red light when it is our green! There is no justice, only stupidity....

Stupid fool, driving too fast for conditions! No excuse for it. When it's foggy you slow down and drive no faster than you can see ahead and stop safely. Duh!

This is what happens when the fine says, "Don't bother." Now if it was a $300 fine, cops would be cleaning up. The city needs the money! The legislature was never serious about traffic safety when they passed this cell phone law and everybody violates it now and that looks bad. Might as well have never passed the stupid law if they were going to make it this weak.
