More good news from the three stooges. Gandolf grunter and swab. What were they doing for the last 5 years?
Oh I know they were passing nuclear free zones and trying to ban plastic bags. What friggin losers!
Yeah don't worry about the 20 million. Please do the entire chico community a favor and step down.

The truth hurts, but we’ll take that over the alternative — the apparent dishonesty we’ve been hearing for years as city leaders tried in vain to protect their fiefdoms.

The city councilors, with the exception of former Mayor Ann Schwab, have taken a realistic approach to the budget woes and most citizens appreciate the fact that they aren’t being hoodwinked anymore.

Just remember people... Nakamura will lie to your face and he himself benefits from the shock and awe by inflating the actual defecit. If it's so bad file BK and put all the cards on the table. My guess is he continues to give high salaries to his Dept. Heads and cuts the hell out of everyone else. Service levels will drop, public will suffer and he will leave.

I agree, much better to have it in the open. Only then can we make decisions and fix the problem.
The citizens should be and have the right to be angry at golof grundl and swab.
They shouldn't be given a free pass for their incompetence.
Hopefully the voters will be able to repay them at some point.
