Too bad about the employees,

welcome to reality, this happens everyday in real life.

Too bad Gandolf, Grunter and Swabbie had there heads you know where when the city was crumbling.

Oh I didn't know they cry, they were too busy dreaming how progressive and sustainable they would look enacting plastic bag bans and banning nuclear weapons in city limits.

Please, what a disservice they have done and how they have disgraced themselves and this fine city.

Their reign will forever be a black mark upon the city and remembered as a dark and dismal time.

If only they would flee the ship as the other rats have.

The City uses diversity as a tool when hiring city employess. Is the same tool used when layoffs occur ?

Nah. It's all about seniority and government union rules. Those with the most time stay, and those with the least time get the ax....no matter how bright, or hardworking, or productive.
I am sure that many very good workers are being cut, and many lazy folks with seniority who refused to take a pay cut to save jobs.......will be around until they die........ or mercifully.........retire.

All of our losses are directly linked to lavish pay and benefits past and present liberal council have bestowed upon city union employees.
