In the ER last week there was a story about an indian tribe suing to prevent another solar farm in the California desert.
This has already occurred with other "clean energy" projects around the country.
Partnering with an indian tribe has become environmentalists de rigor for stopping any energy development, green or otherwise.

And you or anyone else from the left hasn't refuted one argument I've made or any of the evidence I've presented.
Why should Californians pay more for gas when the rest of the country doesn't?
Why should Californians pay more for electricity when the rest of the country doesn't?
Why should Californians pay more for goods because of the inflated cost of transportation when the rest of the country doesn't?
And why would anyone enact any of the above when the true effect on green house gas emmissions is practically zero?

Response to Why! Why! Why!
The answer: You continue to claim that it is not about Logue and let's not forget LaMalfa, though Logue is the one complaining,it is about them!
The reason: They took money from Valero & Tesoro,(energy corporations) & outside the state(Texas)to launch and spearhead an effort to overturn something against their financial interest.
Why is this the issue? How can your interest be representented when you state and (Federal)reps are in the pocket and beholden to non state interest.
How is this possible-it is you Buster. You dodge the point and bring up other arguments while in the denial that they can do this because You will not hold them acountable. You make it possible!
evidence-you claim 500,000 jobs will be lost while Logue claimed a MILLION or roughly 1 out every 36 Californians. You, unlike Logue appear to be unable to swallow that Texas crude logic so you pooch it a 500K. Half-hearted but still defending them.
Lastly, GOP on a national level has openly been at war on California since Newt's contract on America, unfortunately they have had willing accomplices like Wally and to a lesser extent You!

"We were outspent three-to-one," Logue said in a phone interview Tuesday night.
When Logue says "we" he means him and his big Texas oil company pals- Tesorro and Valero- who were behind Prop 23.
Funny thing about Logue and the truth- the two just don't seem to go together.
Does anyone remember what Logue's #1 campaign promise was during the last election?
He said over and over again that the first thing he would do when elected would be to build a fence along the Mexican/California border. He said repeatedly that building the fence was his first priority and the most important thing that he wanted to do.
How is that fence coming along Dan?
The fact that he knowingly lied to all of us means nothing to him. He knew that as a California State Assemblyman that he has no authority and that the state has no authority to build a fence along the border. But in order to get votes from ignorant citizens he was willing to tell his lie repeatedly.
His strategy is to take advantage of people who don't know the truth. He did it before, what would make anyone think that he has changed? Logue is a liar.
And he is lying again.
Big money didn't beat Prop 23.
Informed democracy beat Prop 23.

Buster, I believe you believe what you are saying is true. I also said I believe you and agree that jobs are leaving California. But it was Logue who took up the 23 cause, sponsored it, had town hall meetings, one of which I attended. He kept saying over and over...we are losing jobs.
I pointed out the bond issue to him personally. Here's the point. When contractors lose thier business, they don't hire employees. When items like 23 comes around and it hurts them because their equipment doesn't qualify, they cut back and don't hire employees, or they go out of business. One of these two incidents had a simple fixable solution you goofball. The other took a proposition, time, money, and campaigning. Logue chose the 23 position and completely ignored the other because the other meant calling on the people that gave him money to stay off their backs.
This is why the Legislature doesn't work Buster. Money paid out to these boys in advance is money to make sure the Legislature leaves them alone or buys them a law.
I believe that 23 should have passed, but what I believe doesn't matter, it's what the dumb voters voted that does!
