I don't want to subsidize your life. Healthcare is a choice. Name one government operation that runs effeciently and cost effectively? Healthcare is great in this country. We get fixed. Paying for it is different. before we rush to turn over that much cash flow to the government, the mandates per each state should be done away with. The artificial costs associated with health insurance are imposed by the government. finally, why should we dismantle the system that works for the majority to subsidize the minority?

when will we stop talking about how much health insurance costs and start talking about how much health care costs? Why does it cost $7500 just for half a room for a day at Enloe Hospital? Why does it cost $700 an hour to visit their Emergency Room? And that is not for any service, that's just what they charge you for being there, everything else is an extra charge. If you get service from doctors, radiologists or any other caregiver, you get double billed, both by Enloe and by the caregiver, with a note that says they don't care if you've already paid the hospital, you better pay them or you'll be hearing from a collection agency.

Insurance companies, doctors, and hospitals are not here to serve anybody, they are here to make money hand over fist and that's what's wrong with our health care system. Read Enloe's stockholders reports, look at the salaries the board makes - you'll wonder why they are called a "non-profit".

WE HAVE RELATIVES IN ENGLAND AND THEY ARE NOT HAPPY WITH THE SOCIALIZED MEDICINE. THEIR PAY IS TAXED AT ALMOST 50% TO SUPPORT THEIR HEALTHCARE SYSTEM. THOSE WHO CAN AFFORD IT ON THEIR OWN WILL LEAVE AND GO TO SOMEPLACE LIKE THAILAND TO GET SURGERIES AND OTHER TREATMENTS, BECAUSE IT IS BETTER CARE AND CHEAP. DOCTORS IN SOCIALIZED MEDICINE COUNTRIES HAVE NO INCENTIVE TO GIVE THE SAME EXCELLENT CARE WE GET HERE. ALSO, THERE IS SUCH A LONG WAITING LIST FOR NON EMERGENT SURGERIES THAT PEOPLE LEAVE OR AT TIMES DIE WHILE ON THE LIST. WE HAVE ALSO HEARD CANADIANS WITH ALL THE SAME COMPLAINTS.

The solution is non-profit medicine.
Real non-profit medicine--not the Enloe type of non-profit medicine.
I know the Christians won't mind; Jesus healed the sick for free ........

Well when you getr a serious injury or illouse, you just go to the vitamin store and leave the hospitals, doctors and nurse alone. I would appreciate it very much.

Not that your illiterate reply has anything to do with what I wrote, but I am happy to reply.
Yes, and I would appreciate it if you stayed away as well.
Otherwise, you can tax someone else to pay for your poor health choices.

No thanks! Kick out the illegals or at least stop all the free health care. THe sytem has been deliberatly broken. The banking system too. I have to hand it to those Socialist Democrats. Just lie cheat and steal and you get your way. This is why the conservatives are on the ropes. They have ethics and morals.

Make the politicians start paying for their own healthcare just as if they were working for a large company. Give them co-pays and all the bureaucracy that goes along with it.
Not until then will it even get looked at.
