Some people treat Riceton like their own personal Autobahn. I wonder if speed had anything to do with this.

if you read the article, he was standing behind his vehicle IN the northbound lane, there is no mention of hazard flashers to show other motorists that the vehicle is in fact a danger to them. Especially at 8:30pm at night, it's very hard to see darkened objects with the setting of the sun. It also makes no mention that he was attempting to fix, move or anything which makes me wonder what he was doing behind his vehicle especially in the lane. If the issue was electrical, one would think he would be under the hood, not behind the car. Personally when my vehicle has stopped for some unknown reason, my first response is to turn on my hazard flashers. Though since the car flipped, it is possible she may have been driving fast, but with a sudden attempt to swerve, which I assume is what happened and hitting hard enough to throw the man to the right of the road, it could have been a glancing hit which rolled the vehicle.
just my 2 cents.
