You would think that this would have been all over the main stream news.....
I guess it has become so common place that nobody cares.
Getting some of these mmgw experts on record will become more and more difficult in coming years as their climate predictions prove out to be very wrong.
They will probably stick to their dire predictions for 50-100 years into the future....as none of them will live long enough to be laughed at.
btw Sam, did you notice gramps comment on the substance of your post?

First off, President OBAMA never looked as foolish as Mitt did when it dawned on him that OBAMA whipped his ass...LOL

But you are right on on one thing!

The AGW predictions ARE wrong...

The planet is warming at a considerably faster rate than predicted by the expert, and unfortunately the good die young and ignorant dumbasses like you will live long enough to bellyache about the climate...

SAM has been scraping the bottom of every dirty old barrel he could find in a vain attempt to discredit the AGW scientists but he has been as successful at it as the T publicans have been at voting down OBAMACARE...LMAO

The Known Physics of Global Warming Vs. The Anti-Science of Green-Fundamentalists

The complete failure of the global warming alarmism movement, as represented by the fringe green-fundamentalists, is being well documented on all levels - ultimately, this spectacular failure is the result of extremists promulgating anti-science climate predictions that ignore the most basic of known physics

Obama is becoming the Joe Biden of presidents. The things Biden says and does have no impact on anyone but unfortunately the crazy things Obama says and does do impact all of us.

I know, they keep pushing out their predictions. First we were going to see sea level rises of 20 ft, then the Arctic would be ice free by 2012 and with none of their dire predictions coming to fruition they start hedging their bets by pushing out the time lines and making excuses. Even when some of the once believing AGW scientists(the honest ones)begin to admit that they cannot predict the future the alarmists turn on them in the blink of an eye and proclaim them as kooks.

I am not a Leftie. I don't make personal attacks on the AGW alarmists individually. I am merely trying to show you the errors of the junk science that you so readily believe in.

What difference does it really make in the scheme of things if the ocean rises 15 feet instead of 20ft or if the arctic is ice free in 2025 instead of 2012...???

Yes. The "honest" scientists are quietly going back to the drawing board(as they should), to do more study. It is amazing to me that learned scientists would allow themselves to be caught up in the MMGW frenzie, however, understanding human nature and peer pressure explains much.....especially when access to government funding is in the mix.

Wrong!!

The "honest" scientists understand the futility of explaining complicated science to conservative fools...

Their exasperation is best summarized by the immortal words uttered by GALILEO GALILEI when he uttered "EPPUR SI MUOVE" ("AND YET IT MOVES") after he was forced to recant his heliocentric theory by the ignorant conservatives of his day.....

Perhaps you haven't noticed.......
It is latter 2013, and the sky has not fallen, nor has the sea risen enough to matter to anyone.....and in addition:

A climate science bombshell: New proposal from NASA JPL admits to “spurious” errors in current satellite based sea level and ice altimetry, calls for new space platform to fix the problem.

http://wattsupwiththat.com/2012/10/30/finally...

The best and the brightest are admitting faulty "spurious" errors in data collection......perhaps the new multi billion dollar request from them will provide more accurate measurements.....probably not......too many variables.........

No one ever claims, except conservative morons in their rants, that the sky is going to fall....

Sea rise must matter to some folks because many coastal cities in the US and round the world are upgrading their sea walls and such...

Anyone who is in the slightest familiar with scientific work knows that scientists are always upgrading and recalibrating their measurement instruments, where is the news in that...???

Furthermore, were the "spurious" errors overestimating or underestimating ocean and ice cap levels...???

Ha ha. You crack me up! Big words indeed. Is that all that you got from the piece? You most likely didn't read it.

I read it, ha ha. I understood it, as my post clearly showed. All that Curry was saying was that climate scientists, in her view, were manipulating studies and data in order to feel that they were accepted by their peers... you know, to become accepted members of the 'vast AGW conspiracy'. This huge conspiracy that you deniers believe so fervently.

I was ridiculing the fact that she was using big, lofty terms to state an utterly simpleton concept. So you misread my post. You didn't get it. Typical.

Oh. Judith Curry is a climate scientist.
Yes, she is. And she's gotten onto the denier gravy train. She admits that she's been paid by 'an oil company' since 2007. Here's on scientist's reaction to Curry:

"She's really building up quite a history of throwing up vague or demonstrably wrong claims, then running away when shown to be wrong. Here on the no-feedback climate sensitivity, for example. Gryposaurus took her to task here on aerosols and D&A (based partly on comments from Gavin) and found her response lacking. Here is Eric Steig refuting her absurd claim about the IPCC that "they will tolerate no dissent, and seek to trample and discredit anyone who challenges the IPCC." Her eventual response (which had to be dragged out of her through repeated challenges that she kept on ducking) was merely to dismiss it as an "anecdote"..."

http://julesandjames.blogspot.com/2010/11/whe...

She cherry picks supposed issues, and then runs away from them when challenged, the usual skeptics game.

Here's an excerpt from one of Curry's articles BEFORE getting paid by fossil energy interests:

"The earth is getting warmer, and scientists conducting research on global climate change
overwhelmingly agree: most of the warming since the mid 20th century has been caused by humans, primarily through burning fossil fuels such as coal and petroleum.

Climate model projections suggest that average global temperatures could increase from 3 to 10 degrees Fahrenheit by 2100, the range reflecting the amount of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases that might actually be put into the air, plus uncertainties in the climate models.

Georgia can expect warmer temperatures to be accompanied by more severe heat waves, increased heavy rainfall events, and more severe and longer droughts."

NASA's Dr James Hansen is one of the worlds premier authorities on AGW, and his curriculum vitae and list of peer reviewed scientific publications is at least 4 times as long as is portly Anthony's girth...

An interesting article in USA today (7-30-2013) quotes the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research as stating that "each 1F of global warming translates into 4.2 feet of sea level rise over the long run" concluding that "rising seas could eventually swamp 1,400 coastal cities worldwide...

Your previous post re Curry, you didn't understand it. Read it again.

Don't you find it telling that I present you with an accredited climate scientist and her work yet all you do is find someone who disagrees with some of her work rather than reading it yourself and coming to your own conclusions?
