But seriously, hell, even drinking too much H20 could kill someone...
sam is nothing more than a tush bimbo clone. Several years ago when I had relatives living in Fort Bragg CA and traveled there frequently I heard rush make the statement that there were more trees then ever and to verify it he had taken a limo ride from Santa Rosa to Willits to Bragg and back and that there were millions of trees along the highway.

Only problem is that it’s against the law to log adjacent to highways so unless you get off the main roads you never see the massive clear -cuts.(Google Earth)

All of sams data is highly suspect and much of it is easily refutable.

Eery day the forests of the world are shrinking in size, FACT!

Actually the extra CO2 is helping plant life thrive. Do you realize that industrialization has helped green up the planet? There are more trees now then there has been in some many centuries.

Loosely translated: you got no idea why the last decade has been the warmest decade since records have been kept and yet you find it necessary to bad mouth those who are trying to find out the cause for the warming.... That's mighty conservative of you SAM...

The extra CO2 is acidifying the oceans and killing the coral reefs, and while CO2 can contribute to plant growth under controlled conditions,(such as in greenhouses) but too much of a good thing can be a bad thing in the real world...

If you knew the first thing about botany or biology then you would realize that plants in the wild do not live on CO2 alone and also require other organic materials and rainwater....

So if you stop and use your noodle for a change you will realize that too much CO2 will eventually cause havoc with the vegetation because:

1) No one goes around fertilizing wild vegetation and

2) Rain water can be a scarce resource in certain vegetaded areas..

I suggest you read up on the effects excess atmospheric CO2 has upon the oceans and wild vegetation.....

You are right again!

For one, the charlatan Rush Limbaugh has not been around for ever so he can not say that "there are more trees than ever"

Second, anyone who looks trough historical records nows that todays forests are nothing compared to what American forests used to be like when the white man arrived here...

Warmest since records have been kept. Questionable. Definitely not the warmest since man has been around. I am guessing that the climate is changing because the climate has always changed and always will.

Actually if you look at the data CO2 increases follow warming not the other way around.

"According to well understood physical parameters, the effectiveness of CO2 as a greenhouse gas diminishes logarithmically with increasing concentration and from the current level of ~390 ppmv,(parts per million by volume). Accordingly only ~5% of the effectiveness of CO2 as a greenhouse gas remains beyond the current level.

This inconvenient fact is well understood in the climate science community. It can be accurately modeled using the Modtran program maintained and supported at the University of Chicago.

The logarithmic diminution of the effect of CO2 is probably the reason why there was no runaway greenhouse warming from CO2 in earlier eons when CO2 levels were known to be at levels of several thousands ppmv."

It seems that our climate system could be self-regulating. A theory previously posited by Dr.Lindzen, albeit with a different mode of regulation, cloud cover.

Overall, the climate is warmer today than it has been for the last couple of thousand years and the causes of previous warming are not the same as the ones responsible for the warming today....

The climate always changes, yes, but that does not mean that man does not contribute to the change....

And if you interpret the data correctly you would see that 90 % of the global warming happened after the CO2 increased....

You are scraping the bottom of t he barrel now, are you getting desperate??

In the past you pooh-poohd Climate modeling claiming models are inaccurate and now you are using modeling to buttress some obscure and irrelevant point you dug up somewhere....???

What about the Medieval Warming period?

Yes climate does always change. The question is does man contribute to the change and how much? If we do can we reverse the change? If we don't know how much change how can we reverse it if we don't know how much it is? Why would we act on the predicted outcome of models that have never been correct?

A "premise" is a mere conjecture, is it not...?

And, if you would look at the facts, astronomers tell us that Venus was Earth like at one time but today it has a CO2 concentration thousand times that of ours and its temperature is in the order of +800F

Yes CO2 is a good atmospheric insulator....
